Ignored my symptoms and concerns
I went to Dr. Klis with concerns over pain in my uterus area. He basically tried to push birth control onto me as a 'fix all' and tried to send me on my way. He gaslighted my concerns and made me feel like I was wasting his time. He should NOT be a doctor for women.

During the Transition of closing down San Dimas
Our baby was due in December San Dimas was closing on the last day of November he was still there to deliver the baby during all the hectic things going on we gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby. Thank you Dr. Klis. When we told him about our rare disease that runs in the family he took his time to look into it and see if it is possible to be passed on to the baby. It is true he always dose seem rushed but as long as we have our questions prepared he will answer them.

Dr Klis is an awesome doctor. He was the one who detected my breast cancer. He was kind and provided me with a referral to a great doctor who handled the breast cancer. That was in 2017. I went for my annual last week and he is always professional and friendly. After my exam, I had a question he took time in answering my concerns . Bakersfield is lucky to have such a great doctor. He is been my dr for almost 10 years.

He is responsible for the death of my twin baby after cutting my cervix, while pregnant, during a procedure where he was only supposed to be looking at it. I called the office several times after, notifying them I was bleeding and had pain. He brushed it off as normal. A month later, he wrote down single on my appointment paperwork “single” after checking the heartbeats during my check up. I thought it was just a typo and went to my gender check ultrasound appt. My lower baby was suffocated after the sack popped around him. He came in claiming my baby wasn’t developing properly and walked out. Right before the procedure, my fraternal twins were exactly the same size and perfectly healthy. He treated me like I was insignificant and disposable. Please, if you are young, do not go to him. I was 21. If I had a better support system, I would have taken legal action. He is the reason I don’t have one of my babies, and my daughter doesn’t have her twin.

Dr. Klis performed a full laparoscopic hysterectomy and detected the fact that I indeed had uterine cancer, at the very earliest stages. He demonstrated professionalism throughout treatment, checked on my needs closely after surgery at the hospital, kept my family informed, and he explained every detail with patience and compassion. He has also provided me a referral to a state of the art gynecological oncologist, as a extra precaution. I truly appreciate his support though this difficult time.

After seeing the poor reviews I felt I needed to share my experience. I had my son October 2016 he was the only doctor that I saw during my pregnancy unless he was booked and I had to see PA for non urgent appointments. He was always very nice, very professional and after 60 hours of complicated labor he decided a csection. I would not want ANYONE else to do a csection me OTHER than Dr. Klis. He not only listened to any and all concerns I had, he was also open and clear about all expectations!!!

He wasn't my doctor throughout my pregnancy, but he delivered my baby. I had a really bad experience, probably the worst experience of my life.

I saw Dr. Kliss for the majority of my pregnancy before realizing that I needed a physician who actually had the time to care for me. Expect to wait at least an hour to see him each visit as he sees about 50 patients a day. Expect to have him spend less than 5 minutes with you each visit. The only time any lab results were discussed with me was when I saw his amazing PA. If you have any concerns about your pregnancy then this is not the doctor for you. I felt like I was cattle at a cattle ranch.
