I highly recommend Dr Lovallo to anyone who needs to see a Urologist. I am extremely fearful of any Doctor but he makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet him. He doesn’t look at you as a number, he genuinely listens to you and explains step by step what needs to be done. He is extremely intelligent and you can trust that you are in good hands. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for me. The medical field needs more people like him.

Dr. Lovallo is an incredible doctor and surgeon. He got me in for an appointment within less than 24 hours and onto his surgical schedule within 3 days after that. He did amazing work! My recovery has been as expected and the laparoscopic incisions look great. Most importantly, he got clean margins. His bedside manner is wonderful, he takes the time to communicate everything and ensures you are comfortable with the plan. He's very positive and has great energy. I felt that I was in great hands. He also came highly recommended from other surgeons at Hackensack as the best in his field for Kidney tumors. Kidneys are his specialty and he is very experienced.

Went in twice, didn’t take me serious the first time he made me pull my private out for no reason, he pinched it said yea there might be something and that’s it then I was out under 20 mins, 2nd time he acted as if he was going to help said positive things at the end like he had to talk to some people to make room I understand I have to wait for the urine test but there’s no reason you can’t check up on the last one I had and that I should have to wait most likely weeks when I’m trying to tell you I’m in pain for the second time , I’m not one to leave reviews but I work hard and I’m not going to waste money on unhelpful service

It saddens me to say that the doctors here has given up on their patients when they’re having chronic problems and they cannot find a source. instead of going back into the books and try to see fine what’s going on with someone they just tell you I’ve hit a brick wall and then tell you it’s nothing more I can do for you. it’s almost tell somebody you going to die but you don’t no why. The office manager and the staff manager Alex were awesome amazing people and they’ve always try to help me. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a second opinion they will not be able to give you an answer. Good luck

Dr. Lovallo performed a radical prostatectomy on me three weeks ago and my recovery has been nothing less than miraculous! His skills have enabled me to bypass one of the side effects that caused me the most dread. I experienced zero incontinence and no leakage. I am amazed and delighted. Dr. Lovallo is a rock star. My boyfriend was diagnosed with a mass on his kidney and the hospital sent him to Dr. Lovallo. We had a consult with the doctor who immediately scheduled him for surgery and before we left his office, he looked my boyfriend in the eye and said, "You're going to be okay." The surgery was about a week later and they removed my boyfriend's kidney laparoscopically in a 2-hour surgery. Everything the doctor told us to expect in the wake of the operation was completely on target. The recovery has been quick and remarkable. We just learned that the mass was cancer but all the cancer was removed with that surgery and my boyfriend is indeed going to be okay. Not only is Dr. Lovallo skilled but he has tremendous empathy and a great personality and we feel like, thanks to him, we can put this whole episode behind us.

Dr Lovallo is the ultimate professional. He is knowledgeable, patient, caring and is thorough in his explanation of your options as a patient in making a decision in regard to your treatment. He spends ample time with each patient. I highly recommend Dr Lovallo

During the past 40+ years my husband and I have seen nearly two dozen urologists on the East Coast. We have NEVER received the level of care and compassion that we did today from Dr. Lovallo and his team. From the receptionist to the ultrasound operator, PA and Doctor, each and every one gave us their full attention at all times and a level of respect that I've rarely found in doctors' offices today. If you are looking for a medical team that works together, that takes the time to listen to you, shares their knowledge and clinical experience and uses clear language designed to help you manage and resolve your problem...go no further. This is the place.

My surgery outcome was perfect, just as Dr. Lovallo promised. Besides being a great surgeon. He is the nicest Doctor I have ever met. I would highly recommend Dr. Lovallo.

Was diagnosed with Prostate cancer last year, and told to monitor it. Was not comfortable, decided to have another biopsy. This biopsy showed aggressive cancer and I was referred to Dr. Lovallo by a friend. From the very start I was totally comfortable with him. He was open, honest, and sincere. He NEVER once pushed me into surgery, even sent me to a Radiation Oncologist to inquire about Radiation. In the end I chose to have surgery and am very glad Dr. Lovallo performed my surgery.

Dr. Lovallo assisted in my surgery back in 2008. His words to me before being put to sleep were “ Don’t be scared don’t worry, we are going to take care of you”. They sure did take care of me. Years later I can message him with questions and he will respond back. He is a great Dr and amazing person!

Office staff is impossible. Billing is unbelievably incompetent never willing to speak with a\the doctor, who is 100 feet away. No matter how many times I try to pay the accurate amount, no one is willing to walk the 100 feet to verify?? No matter how many times I try to get a prescription for blood work, it never arrives in the mail as promised unless I make a fuss. His office incorporated additional physicians about a year ago,and has become onerous to deal with, too many patients for office.

He did my kidney stone removal, he is the BEST, has the most outstanding personality and character, through all the pain, he kept me smiling!!!!! His overall academic excellence and expertise in Urology, assured me that I have the best doctor, and I was not disappointed trusting him with my life. Thanks Dr. Lovallo, for taking care of my body in surgery, I will do my best to continue eating Organic and Drinking Fluids.?
