Great Care
Dr Matter and his team did a 4 cabbage redo on my ex husband. They are highly professional, kind and compassionate. He had an 8 hr surgery and he is recovering slowly. The staff at Texcoma Medical are fantastic and the attention to care couldn’t be better. We live in Abilene, Tx so we were lucky to find Reba’s Ranch House to put you up at no charge. Thanks and prayers go out to Dr Matter for the work he does. God Bless, you are a blessing to many.

The Best in my books
Well to start he was very thorough about what he was going to do and he never had me scared I had 5 bi passes done and when I went back for surgery he walked me through the whole thing as I was going under and again I was never scared he took very care of me b4 and after the surgery very nice gentleman and his staff is wonderful as well I love them all if I was to have to have this done again I would choose him any day

Excellent Surgeon!
Dr. Matter is an excellent surgeon! But he is also a wonderful compassionate doctor. He performed a mechanical heart valve and a pacemaker surgery on me. In addition his staff is also wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Matter!!

Dr. Matter comes highly recommended even from his peers as the one they would go to if the need arose as well as people from all over the United States that would not go to anyone else. I went in not really thinking about anything being so bad or wrong and when told the verdict, was very hesitant but finally went for it. I was given all the time I needed with no rush to get all my questions answered and was treated with utmost respect.

Dr.Matter performed a 2nd open heart surgery that saved my husband's life. Another doctor said he was sending him home to get his affairs in order. Dr. Matter, in our opinion, has allowed my husband to have many more years of a productive life. The surgery was grueling and dangerous, but Dr. Matter forged a path where the other doctor said there was nothing left to do. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any person needing treatment for heart issues!
