The Steroid Injection doctor
I have plantar plate tears in my feet but Dr Morris decided I had Mortons neuroma instead. He offered steroid injections to my feet, but I already knew steroid injections were contra-indicated for my condition and would hinder healing, and possibly cause a plantar plate rupture. He did a manual manipulation test for Morton's neuroma but couldn't find a tender spot to support his diagnosis, but continued to insist he was correct. He would not listen to my concerns of plantar plate tears and would not address them. I would recommend you go to this doctor if you want steroid injections because it seems that is his specialty.

This specialist performed a brostrom procedure and a lapidus valgus repair on my left foot. So far, all is well in my recovery process. I have incision numbness, which is normal, but besides that it feels as though the surgery was successful. I am hoping for continued positive rehabilitation. It is certainly important to communicate with your physical therapist post procedure. Having both the PT and surgeon on the same page for rehabilitation is important.

Great DR except when you have something wrong with his after surgery care. I am now disabled for the rest of my life, thanks to nerve damage. I am completely beside myself in pain. I wish I never had it done. They could not wait to get rid of me (My recovery was not 2 months more like 8 months). It was terrible pain. THey shipped me out and I've been to 12 Doctors since then and have permanent neuropathy.
