Dr. Nazar treated my nephew Marc
My nephew was born in the late 80’s with severe disabilities that we found out after his passing and another nephew born with the same condition in the mid 2000’s that it was L1Cam. Dr. Nazar was the only one who showed great bedside manner and empathy for Marc and our family. He believed Marc had worth back when so many in the medical field did not due to the degree of his disabilities. He was the only one my mother did not ask me to leave Marc’s room at Children’s Hospital. As a young 15 year old I admired Dr. Nazar so much and he was the example I wanted all my future care providers to have. Fast forward to 2000 when I was assaulted by a student leaving me with lifetime injuries and pain. Through all the medical providers I have seen, I have still been constantly reminded of Dr. Nazar. I’ve had 3 surgeries thus far and there are still 3 more to go plus countless procedures that will be lifetime. I so wish I could let Dr. Nazar know how much he has meant to me still.

Dr. Nazar is amazing. He is patient, kind, and personable. He always takes time to listen. I have no complaints. I’m not sure if he is now retired or not, but I hope he works forever! If I need surgery again, I would want him to again be my neurosurgeon.

Amazing, he is the BEST! I had back surgery with Dr. Gregory Nazar and I am still pain free! Dr Nazar was great at throughly explaining all my questions before my surgery…which made the procedure more comfortable for me. I was relaxed and had faith in my surgeon to do his best. I have recommended friends & family to Dr Nazar so they too would have a great surgical outcome. I highly recommend Dr Nazar ??.

Best neurosurgeon ever! Retirement soon?
Dr. Nazar performed back surgery on me many years ago. And he actually used robotics way back then almost 20 years ago. His bedside manner is the best!

I had a spinal cord tumor that the pain was so unbearable it got where I couldn't sit down or lay down. I had a MRI a week prior and my primary already told me I had the tumor. So when it got that bad I went to the ER and DR Nazar performed surgery the next day to remove it. I think he's one of the best DR's ever. He's been treating my lower back pain since 2002. I don't know what I would have done without him!

Guy can't even tell you whats causing pain. Gives garbage text book answers and fails to even go slightly in depth. Performs a lumbar discectomy and then when it fails acts like it was my own doing just a month after surgery. Won't even offer advice and pretty much leaves it to me to figure it out. Never should have had surgery, but no big deal for him it's just another payday. Unless you have something straight forward and not a compounded problem I would look at another DR.

Dr.Nazar has given me my life back. I had a spinal fusion done in Nov. (9mo) ago. My recovery was great! I did everything he and his team said to do. I have no pain, a very small scar and a backbone made out of titanium! How great is that! I had no quality of life before, living on pills that didn't really help, and I couldn't stand, walk, sit, and lastly couldnt lay in bed to sleep. THANK YOU DR. NAZZAR FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.?? Thanks for giving me my life back!

I went to Dr Nazar for a 2nd opinion. He came into the room, admitted he never looked at my records, looked at 1 of my numerous x-rays and rambled about for 15 minutes. He never answered any of our questions We waited over 2 hours to be seen. I was disappointed and hope they don't send me a bill. I DO NOT recommend him to anyone.
