Double By-Pass
Dr Rushing met with our family on a Saturday and took time with us to explain the procedure. His care and his professionalism won our hearts. He successfully performed the double by-pass and recovery was of the greatest care. Dr Rushing will always be remembered in our family as the man who saved my husband. I highly recommend Dr Rushing, Gail his Cardiac Nurse and the entire cardiac team at Southwest.

Happy patient
Dr. Rushing performed an ablation on my husband who has had afib for years despite shocking of the heart. The procedure is called "hybrid ablation." his nurse told me that doctor rushing is one of the few doctors in cleveland to do this procedure. Needless to say, my husband has a normal rhythm and is off blood thinners.

Cardiac Patient
I needed open heart surgery and dr. rushing took great care of me. When we first met with him, he drew a heart diagram and explained in detail my heart vessels and the importance of having open heart surgery so I can live a longer healthier life. After surgery, he saw me in the hospital everyday, the hospital staff was great, and then his private nurse called us or we could call her if we had any additional questions, which put our minds at ease. It was a scary moment but the doctor and his team made it very easy and less stressful. We are very thankful for dr. rushing and his team.

Great doctor with a wonderful team .
Dr. Rushing performed coronary bypass surgery on me. He clearly explained the procedure and what to expect after it - while recovering . With solid knowledge and a subtle sense of humor , Dr. Rushing put me at ease and gave me assurance that I'm in good hands . A big thank you from the bottom of my "rejuvenated " heart to Dr. Rushing and his surgical and aftercare team for all the help and medical care received at Parma University Hospital.

Dr Rushing and his staff
My Husband had open heart surgery in November 2022 by Dr Rushing and his staff. From the 1st visit we knew we where in good hands with the staff and Dr Rushing. They where all very kind and patient. Dr Rushing explained what my husbands heart looked like before surgery and what it will look like after surgery. he also explained what life would be like after surgery for the first month, till the 3 month of healing. Dr Rushing listened to our questions and answered them. He spent time with us before surgery, not rushing us or hurrying us out of the office. I had a "personal Nurse" that was in surgery and would call me every hour to hour and half to let me know what was happening and what was to happen. That was a blessing to me. The Parma UH staff, janitors, aides, nurses, doctors, all that came in contact with my husband and I were top notch and kind. I highly recommend Dr Rushing and his staff to take care of those in need of heart surgery. Thank you to all for all you do.
