I HAVE BEEN SEEING HIM FOR SEVERAL YEARS HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AS AN INDIVIDUAL NOT JUST AS ANOTHER PATIENT

Reassuring after a little scare
Dr T has always been so kind and never makes me feel like I’ve wasted his time -like occasionally happens other places. Even when I almost poked my eye out with a snow shovel (it fell on me) and last week when my freaky eye changes were just from age. I just love this guy. He never tries to talk me into extra procedures or fancy expensive meds. He never rushes me out. How lucky we are to have him in this town!

Excellent Ophthalmologist
Wolfe Eye Clinic in Ottumwa is a lovely facility, the staff is very good and pleasant. My appointment was right on time, in spite of their computer system having issues. Dr. Thorgaard is very professional, however very pleasant and open to questions. He was very thorough in this initial visit and addressed all of my concerns. I'm very pleased with my entire expeience.

Routine 6 month follow-up
Have seen Dr Thorgaard for the past 30 years. He is always thorough and is unrushed in my appointments. I have had ongoing eye issues for many years and always received the best care. I highly recommend him.
