Bad News
This guy has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever encountered. He did a sloppy job on my hip replacement, leaving me a drop foot turned inward that requires me to wear a prosthetic to walk.

Dr Knoblich performed Right trapeziectomy and suspension arthroplasty operation on my right thumb. I had little pain and should have been informed by him and my GP the operation was really unnecessary. I told him I had low pain. The operation has ruined my right thumb. I had it reviewed by Medford Orthopedic after the operation and they told me the operation had been completely botched and now my thumb can only be repaired by fusing the joint and many months therapy.

My experience was the same as the previous review. He didn't seem to have the time to discuss his recommendation for hip surgery. He just got up and left. Won't go to him as the recommendation by him for hip surgery was the first I had heard that I needed one and it would have been nice to get some explanation. He just said read the pamphlet.

I did not want to have surgery for my hip because I am over 90 and I believe that the outcome would not be worth the pain and effort of the surgery. Dr. Knoblich wasn't interested in discussing other ways of easing my pain. After a brief assessment and stating his recommendation to operate, Dr. Knoblich got up while I was talking, walked over to the door, walked out and shut the door behind him. He didn't respond, didn't say goodbye, just walked out while I was talking. I went to another doctor.
