Dr. Guillaume Dumont, MD

Dr Dumont meets you as an equal. He is very knowledgeable, you can tell he enjoys his work, has passion for it and is excellent at what he does. He's also very kind. I saw him for 2 separate things and his demeanor was the same at every appointment, even when the clinic was very busy. He's a real asset to Lexington medical

Dr. Dumont was the third Doctor I saw over a 2.5 year period. My hip pain was beyond unbearable at that point - I had previously had arthroscopic surgery in January 2015 for a torn labrum. He validated my feelings, he investigated the issue which was a torn right labrum again and FAI impingement. He did an arthroscopic revision and not even 3 months later I can’t believe how well I feel. Not everyday is pain free, but it is worlds better than what it used to be! I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr Dumont was my third chance at finding out what was wrong with me and too bad I did not find him first.. he is an amazing doctor he listens , he explains things so that you can understand them, and goes over everything thoroughly with you.. will never go anywhere else

Dr. Dumont and his staff are all wonderful. From diagnosis to intervention, they have been the most amazing care team. Being in health care myself, I had a lot of questions along the way and each person took time to thoroughly answer. I am always seen promptly and yet Dr. Dumont never rushes through my appointments. He is an exemplary physician, and I would recommend him to my friends, family, and my own patients.

I have had two hip surgeries with Dr. Dumont due to sport injuries starting when I was 15. I was 23 when I had the first surgery which was a labium repair on my right hip with some other stuff needing to be done. I had a lot of pain following surgery and two years later we decided to go in again. This second surgery turned out to be more than they had expected and while in surgery he decided to do a complete rebuild because it had gotten so bad. Dr. Dumont making that decision has changed my life. I am now nearly pain free and able to go about my daily life without any restrictions. This second surgery at 25 was the best decision and truly has made my right hip feel better than it has in 10 years.

I had been dealing with hip pain for over a year before I came to Dr. Dumont. after my first visit with Dr. Dumont and his team he successively found out what the issues was. Surgery went smoothly and my recovery has progressed wonderfully. He and his team have been extremely positive and encouraging throughout this process.

Hopefully this will be my last visit as it's been a year since my surgery and I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I have no regrets with the decision to have the surgery. Dr Dumont and staff have provided stellar care and service. I'm so grateful to have been under the care of such professionals. Thank you all so much!!

One year post op and I've had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dumont - from pre-op visits, to the actual surgery and the numerous post-op appointments. He's been informative and supportive through the whole process. He helped me slowly get back into running at a rate that wouldn't slow my healing process. I've recommended him to a number of people already and will continue to do so.

Extremely smart and very caring doctor. I never had a second of doubt in anything he told me regarding my issue and surgery. He listened and explained in an easy to understand manner to all of my concerns and issues. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who may be in need of his specialty. Excellent staff as well! Dr. Dumont and his team are absolutely wonderful. I came in not knowing exactly what was wrong with me and he was able to not only tell me what was wrong but how he could fix it. Coming from an active background, it was a long process where I had to be patient. Dr. Dumont and his team provided quick action where others make you wait for months at times for results. I was very amazed and please with the entire process from being first seen, to surgery and then the recovery process. If something ever came up in the future and I didn't live here, I would definitely travel back just to be seen by them.

DR. DUMONT AND HIS STAFF HAVE BEEN GREAT. I HAD ARTHROSCOPIC HIP TENDON REPAIR AND I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. RECOVERY HAS BEEN 6 WEEKS BUT THE PAIN WAS GONE IMMEDIATELY. DOWN TIME WAS MINIMAL AND I STARTED PHYSICAL THERAPY THE NEXT WEEK. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEEING HIM FOR HIP PAIN. WISH I CAME HERE EARLIER.

Dr. Dumont and his staff are really amazing . He take the time to listen . He make you feel welcome ( not rushing ) he cares !!! My surgery went even better then I could hope for . Dr. Dumont is a wonderful dr and highly recommend him to any one .

Dr. Dumont was able to easily identify FAI, something I had been wrestling with for YEARS that previous Orthopedists had failed to identify and properly treat. They got me in within a few weeks for surgery, and I am now three-weeks post op. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to show me the pictures from surgery and explain what they did. If your hip hurts, go see this man!

Dr. Dumont at USC Sports Med was the only doctor out of 4 (one being a DUKE) that would listen to my pain issues and quickly diagnosis the problem and schedule me for surgery. I have been dealing with hip pain for a year and seen several doctors that kept saying take meds and rest and the pain will go away. After Dr. Dumont order several test, he quickly saw the cause of the pain and rest was nothing something that would make it go away. A year of wasted money and time spent on other doctors.

Dr. Dumont took every precaution to assure that we exhausted all possibilities of non-invasive treatment for hip and shoulder injuries I experienced due to an automobile accident. When rest, PT, and steroid injections did not relieve my issue, Dr. Dumont performed laparoscopic hip surgery that has been a life saver. I would STRONGLY recommend Dr. Dumont for any hip or shoulder issue. I'm in the process of shoulder treatment and have no reservations with Dr. Dumont being the man for the job.
