I truly can't understand why all of the one star ratings for Dr. Gonzales. My regular physician had terrified me with news of my cancer. But my first visit with Dr. Gonzalez he totally put me at ease! He totally explained my disease, treatment for it and prognosis. He even joked that the worst part of my disease was having to come and visit him every 2 to 3 months. He always took time to answer any questions I had. He was always on time also, which is a big compliment for any doctor.

I concur with the 1 star reviews. Branson has no other option in town for my flavor of cancer. I dread every interaction with this Doctor. On the upside, the 2 patient navigators are first rate. Marcy in particular makes my day brighter.

Dr. Gonzalez should be ran out of Branson. He is ride and uncaring. I have had both sarcoma and colon cancer and he knows nothing about sarcoma. When I tried to correct some of his assumptions about the disease, he wouldn't listen and wouldn't explain why. He makes decisions about my care without consulting me. He makes up his mind before knowing my opinions. He is not professional in Amy manner

Like many reviews of Dr. Gonzalez that I have read here and elsewhere, I found the man to be arrogant, closed-minded, and uncaring. He wouldn't listen to me, constantly cut me off, and was smart-mouthed. He should not be a doctor.

Condescending, rude, hateful. Attacked me for a disease I was not in treatment for with him, made the comment I'll bleed you until your anemic then we'll transfuse you. Refused to listen to me acted like I was a thorn in his side. I felt unwanted and uncared for. It was a horrible experience.

I have met some of the most caring, intelligent HEALERS, while volunteering f. They knew that it was as important to treat the mind, soul, and attitude of the patient and their family. I saw Doctors instill hope when it was lost. I sat with my Step-Dad and saw a man who never wanted to be a healer, he thought being a Dr prestigious. I made the "mistake" of asking a question or two, and he chewed my head off. He is a simple man, with a God complex. Of ask a question, htakes pit personally.

This Dr. made a decision about my care before he even walked in the room or spoke to me. He was condescending, rude, and argumentative. He asked me twice did I even know why I was in his office? When I answered he told me I was wrong. (I wasn't) He refused to listen to a word I said and then told me aspirin has nothing to do with blood thinning it is only for pain relief and I could take as much aspirin as I wanted. Aspirin as a blood thinner is common knowledge. This man should not be a Dr.

Dr. Gonzalez is a fantastic person and doctor, we spent a year in treatment with cancer and the staff, the infusion room and Dr. Gonzalez made this bad issue much easier to deal with. Dr. Gonzalez is very informative and helpful, well beyond being an oncologist. He will talk with you and help you with any and all question you have, and we had a lot. I have and would recommend him to anyone who has to deal with cancer. We continue our follow up visits and it is always nice to just sit and talk.
