He saved my life.
He found my cancer in my throat in less then 10 minutes. Dr. Chamberlain did biopsy, sent me to cancer center ASAP for treatments. He found it in early stage why I am still here. Saw him for 5 years later, not one of those appointments was he not caring, professional. kind, made me understand, and gave me the tools to help me get better in recovery. Would recomend him 100% to anyone!!!

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Chamberlin for a 2nd opinion. Dr Chamberlin was able to see me much sooner than originally scheduled. During the 1st visit he answered all our questions regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis. He confirmed what we already knew and assured my wife and I that we would work together to find the best outcome. Because time is critical with my diagnosis we made the decision to proceed with inner ear steroid injections during the 1st visit vs waiting for a previously scheduled procedure at Togus VAMC. I’m thankful for the option he offered. We already knew his reputation from other practitioners as well as friends we spoke with. His clinical skills are excellent, reputation is above reproach and he’s easy to communicate with. His explanations are not so clinical they are difficult to understand. We found him to be personable, punctual and professional. I’m looking forward to working with him and feel fortunate to have him on my healthcare team!

It did not go well at all. He was upset that an ER doc would refer me to him, he did not examine me or ask me questions; he was rude and dismissive and gave me the opinion that he had no idea what he was doing. Where did he get his licence--on-line??? I would never recommend him to anyone--he acted as though he didn't care and didn't want to have to think. A friend of mine also had the same, disquieting experience with him. Nurses have referred to him as a "real snot"--funny because he's supposed to be an ENT doc. He is considered to be uncaring, under-informed or not interested in the friends I know who went to him. Sad and scary. I've said this before, but in my opinion as a health professional, he is not a good choice.

My experience with Dr. Chamberlin was top notch. He found the problem that I had been having for months. He actually found an abnormality on an MRI that had previously been viewed by a radiologist and declared normal He immediately called another radiologist and followed up by ordering another MRI to further examine the problem. I am so thankful that he followed up with this, looked at the old MRI and found the problem. He went above and beyond what was expected. I highly recommend him.
