In addition to being a highly respected and excellent doctor professionally, Dr McKhann is also a very thoughtful, considerate, kind and friendly person. I have been his patient for 20 years now, and considering myself extremely fortunate to be under his care.

Dr. McKhann operated on a friend of mine with great success, so when an MRI in Mexico showed I had a Meningioma (sp?) I flew home from my shortened vacation and has Dr. McKhann remove the tumor. In an out with 100% success, he explained everything and made me comfortable with the whole idea of brain surgery. Not the usual surgeon (Cutters, they call them). McKhann was as open and articulate as a good friend.

In my opinion most surgeons want to operate bc they have a gift and can use it. Dr McKhann is not in a rush to cut people open. He is a meticulous, thoughtful person and I was so happy to be evaluated by him. He laid out a plan and I felt no pressure to commit one way or the next. Thanks Doc!
