Dr Argun is my Internal Medicine Doctor. He is a no nonsense person, tells you like it is, not what you want to hear. During my physical he noticed something in my EKG,asked me if I was having chest pains. I lied and said no. He sent me for a stress test. The Cardiologist guessed I had a moderate/severe blockage in one of my coronary arteries and sent me to the VA Hospital Cath Lab in Temple within 4 days of diagnosis. Sure enough, I was nearly 90% blocked. I was stented. Dr Argun saved my life.

He is a complete waste of taxpayers money and a disgrace to the VA. I am sorry for everyone subjected to his antics. He's rude, careless, not knowledgeable and his favorite comments are "what do you want me to do" and "there's nothing I can do for you". He is hardly ever in the office, never available for appointments, cancels last minute and refuses to provide proper treatment options.

Dr. Argun truly opened my eyes about how much the doctors at the VA want to help the veterans. Saw him for low back pain. He put in for an X-ray which detected nothing unusual. He was ready to send me on my way. I said, "Is that it?" He said, "What else did you want to do?" I said, "I don't know, you're the doctor! How about a MRI, arn't those more advanced?" Dr. Argun replied, "If you want to." I gave up for a long time after Dr. Argun said there was nothing he could do for me.
