Dr Cheng Did Both Shoulder Surgeries
Dr. Cheng did both my shoulders couldn’t be more pleased. Feel like a new person, he took the time and explained everything with me on both surgeries. Before I had them on what the plan would be. When you go for your office’s visit afterwards he shows you on the computer screen the surgery and goes over everything that he had to do to repair it. Great Doctor, Talk about manners and really caring about his patients. His P.A. Angie is great she’s the same. Angie’s so knowledgeable about everything that’s going on with the surgery and your care Basically from start to finish everything was organized and smooth sailing.Believe me you will leave there one happy person !!!!

Worst Advice Ever! You have been warned
All I can tell you is the idea of 'a surgeon wants to cut' couldn't have been more true here. I went in with glute / groin pain and numbness down the leg. After imaging Cheng suggested a labral tear and impingement needing surgery. After a second opinion followed by a referral to a spine doctor and additional imagining - my hip is perfectly fine and instead I have two herniated discs in my lumbar spine. needless to say - thank goodness for intuition and second opinions because this saved me from a pointless surgery, months of recovery, additional wasted money (after all the wasted money on tests, visits and imaging!)AVOID!

Did a fantastic job on my TKR in 2019. Two years later complete mobility, only very minimal pain at times. It’s mostly muscle, soft tissue issues. Do exercises and greatly helps with pain. I would’ve recommend him to anyone. My wife just had her Right knee replaced on 12 June 2021 and she has responded fantastically. She is very pleased with the outcome so far.

Dr. Cheng was not the appropriate surgeon for a hip replacement. The joint was infected according to Dr. Cheng and the surgery was put on hold. The frustration is this happened multiple times and we finally had to seek another surgeon. Dr. Cheng is not able to think creatively about other solutions, does not seem to consult other doctors about situations is not aware and was not very sympathetic to the situation. A "routine" simple procedure maybe...anything else look elsewhere.
