Dr. Hack Kim, MD

Words cannot overstate the quality of care given by Dr. Kim. He sets the standards for other providers to follow by.

Everything went smoothly, from the front desk, to the nurses, to the anesthesia, to the colonoscopy with Dr. Kim. Went under at 1:25, woke up at 2:10. Was on the road heading home by 2:30. Didn’t feel a thing! As with any colonoscopy, the worse part is the prep & being on the potty so you’re “emptied out!”

He was able to answer all of my questions and presented the my options in a way that I easily understood.

Dr. Kim was on time and things went quickly but didn’t feel rushed. I feel good about our conversation and the next steps to be taken. He explained things efficiently and made sure I understood and that I didn’t leave with any unanswered questions and had set clear expectations. The process of the telehealth appointment was very easy and simple.

Everyone I had contact with front to back were friendly and professional. The level of care I received was exceptional which made an otherwise tedious procedure pleasant.

This Dr. Kim,made a mistake.The initial appointment was given to me two months in the future.A long time to wait for someone who has stomach issuesSo, two months after I scheduled the first consultation for this third Colonoscopy,I was at this clinic for routine Colonoscopies in 2010 and 2019. This time around, DR.KIM,chats with me on July 15th. Again this was set up two months before.I tell him I was diagnosed with IBS, he shows no interest in helping, even a quick suggestion for the symptoms I am still having. His sole advise was to continue taking Dicyclopine,that was prescribed by a PA.Two weeks later, I was scheduled for a COLONOSCOPY,on July 18.Because he FAILED to advise me to stop the Dicyclopine, the evening of the preparation for the procedure, failed.I was not able to empty my bowels until 18 hours after I completed the horrible steps.

The entire staff including Dr. Kim were top notch. Very patient and took the time to answer any questions I had.

Prepared and Professional

This is my second time seeing Dr. Kim. He is an expert at what he does, not mention personable, and very professional. Dr. Kim took the time to discuss my procedure prior to and his findings before I left the office. He also had report documentation ready to go so that I could review the results later. It’s nice to have confidence in a doctor.
