Dr. Azem Went Above and Beyond for Our Family”
Dr. Azem cared for my elderly father after a serious fall on Easter, and we are incredibly grateful for his thoughtful, compassionate care. He clearly explained our options, answered every question with patience. We were initially given conflicting surgical recommendations from two different doctors, which left us feeling overwhelmed and confused. Dr. Azem stepped in and made an incredible difference. He carefully reviewed my father’s charts and scans, then took the time to clearly explain the pros and cons of both surgical and non-surgical treatment options. He spoke in terms we could understand, without overwhelming us with medical jargon, and he truly listened to our concerns—answering every question with patience and compassion. He arrived each morning exactly when he said he would—like clockwork—which allowed our family to plan around work and other obligations. His expertise, reliability, and kind manner made all the difference.

I have been with Dr. Azem since 2019 and have had no problems. He saw what my problem was on my MRI when those who took it (and changed me $1400 and said take 2 aspirin, literally)could not. The only time I was displeased was when I felt I was being rushed, but then found out that he was taking care of his AND his colleague’s patients at the same time. Other than that I would surely recommend Dr. Azem to anyone.

My mother in law was seeing Dr. Azem and has since passed on and I believe partly because of his incompetence. Rushes thru your appt. Does not listen to your concerns and that's IF he doesn't rush out of the room. Prescribed conflicting medicines that should not have been taken together, even when the fact was brought up and he said he would discontinue one, but when I picked up the prescriptions, they were both prescribed again. Wrote conflicting reports about patient in the same day. Pick any Dr but him and you will be ok.

Like everyone else has been saying this man doesn’t listen at all. He’s always in such a rush to get you out the room and go to his next patient which isn’t cool at all. I was told by him that I have a cyst in my stomach and I constantly tell him it bothers me often and all he has to say is “oh you’ll be fine I don’t think we need to bother it now” so with that being said I just made an appointment with another doctor to get a second opinion on it because I want this cyst out of me!

This doctor does not listen to anything you have to say. Very rude and unprofessional. he should not be allowed to be a doctor, his staff is rude and also slow. Even if you arrive on time you still have to wait an hour to be seen. He only cares about the $$$ and numbers. If you want to be treated as a number instead of an actually human being go to him. But I really feel his days are numbered with UH because he is horrible!

This doctor was extremely rude to my mother, who was briefly a patient. He was also rude to nursing staff and showed little regard for my mother's passing with the delay in signing her death certificate, which delayed the planning of her funeral arrangements No compassion whatsoever and never checked in on her in her final days. Horrible.

Insensitive to hospice patients. Unreasonably slow at signing my mother's death certificate and rude to the hospice nurse. Very unprofessional. Can't believe UH allows this!

Dr. Azem takes the time to listen and he explains everything. Most other primary care doctors I have been to spend maybe 5 minutes with you, Dr. Azem will take time with you. He is genuine and cares not only about your health, but other things in your life as well. He treats me like a friend more than a patient. I have a great deal of respect for him, he saved my life and he's getting me healthy again.
