This man saved my arm from amputation
Back in 1994, I was involved in a major industrial accident that involved my right arm getting severely crushed. As I was dozing in and out of consciousness, I heard medical staff taking about cutting it off, and cauterizing the remaining stump. I couldn't speak due to the heavy pain medication they injected. I knew it would be a gamble whenever I wake up. I woke up hours and hours later. Looked to my right, and saw the full length of right arm covered in blood soaked guaze. The nurses came promptly to address my moans of agony and object me more of the good stuff. I wake up again much later on to find ice been changed, cleaned up, and in a hospital room. There stood a silhouette I would later learn to be my doctor... Dr. Matloub. He explained what happened, what he had to do, abd what he plans to do in the very near future. It turns out e had 4 surgeries planned over the course of the next month. The good doctor saved my arm.
