Dr. Hani Zamil, MD

Dr. Zamil is the most kind and patient gastrologist. He listens and explain things in the midst simplistic ways. I absolutely think he's the best.

Dr. Zamil was extremely thorough in explaining my situation as well as possible treatments available. He was both patient and empathetic with my self and my husband as we had quite a few questions for him.

Good experience

It was very difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Zamil. When I finally got secured an appointment and waited weeks to see the doctor, his office called me 2 days before and cancelled, saying it was an "emergency". They said the "next available" was almost 6 months away! After much complaining, I managed to get an appointment, at which Dr. Zamil only gave me some medicine samples and told me to come back in 3 months for a followup, which I scheduled while at his office. Then again -- just a couple of days before the followup, they cancelled..... saying another "emergency". They offered no appointments with the other doctors in the practice, saying they were "all booked up", only offering an appointment several months away! This is no way to treat patients. I don't know if this doctor is good or not, but he sure doesn't seem to have concern for his patients. I would never recommend this doctor or his practice because of the non-caring attitudes there.

Dr. Zamil was fantastic. Great listener, educated and really took the time to explain my options to me. Didn't feel rushed once which was nice. Highly recommend.

He’s good at what he does but is very very busy (hard to contact or get an appointment). Couldn’t continue treatment with him because of that (hard for students or people working with an unflexible schedule). Made me feel like he doesn’t care about his patients but probably does & just is very busy. I do highly recommend him if you just need to see him every 4-6 weeks. He’s one of the best at solving rare disorders and celiac disease cause of his experience.

A friend of a friend recommended Dr. Hani Zamil & he is definitely one of the best doctors I have ever had. I never trust dr's b/c of my past but I was able to trust him. I could just feel what a good person he is, that he truly just wants to help, is not just a dr for $, he thinks outside the box, has a great bedside manner, a good humor, & is VERY smart! He did a good job making me comfortable, I felt safe, & the endoscopy went well with him. Highly recommend him! Thx 4 all that you do doc!

If you're looking to be treated as an financial investment riddled with various puzzling medical bills as opposed to receiving honest and quality health care from physicians who are transparent and actually take time to listen to your concerns, then go see him. He is not a man of his word, is slapdash, and is not welcoming of questions nor valid health concerns as he waives questions off offering vague prognosis and immediate prescriptions. A business professional; not a medical professional.

Dr. Zamil seems to be a very busy doctor. He is thorough and accommodating, but his nurse and other staff seem to not be interested in working. Dr. Zamil's ability to see patients due to many days off has caused us to go elsewhere. HIs nurse seems uninterested in issues the patient may be having.
