Dr. Hannah Houck, DO

She is my VA doc and she has been able to keep this old Marine in line and has always been on the job and even on short notice so I did not have to go to the ER. Yes I would recommend her as a doctor

I agree with the other patient who experienced the same thing I did, and repeatedly. Initially, she was great and appears knowledgeable, but, over time, I was limited in what I could ask and found her condescending. I dislike going to see her now because of her attitude and how she treats me. Very disappointed since there is no caring spirit here, only concern for her own time. They even rescheduled an appointment for me without telling me.

I believe that overall health is a weaving of all of your health issues together. It's a domino effect. When I saw this doctor, I was never allowed to say anything other then what I was there for. If a lab came in from a specialist, she didn't want to know or talk about it. If I had questions about my health her response is ALWAYS that I was cutting into another patients time and I would have to make another appointment to ask any additional questions or concerns. Regardless of the fact I had to wait for my own turn to see her which was way beyond 25 minutes. So, if this is her response to me, who was taking up my patient time with her? She is very knowledgeable, but her personality is often 'inconvenienced and in a hurry to get me out the door' when dealing with me and my health. I have given it several visits see if it was just not a one time thing. NOPE! It's everytime I go in to see her I an made to feel bad like I can't say anything because i need to make another apt.

She worked with my doctor on my case and she is very knowledgeable. I saw her a few times. My case is complex, but she stuck with me. She has continued to be a part of my case and not give up on me. She is very patient and sweet. She listens and has great ideas. She also helps stand up for patients who are not tested well by specialists. She believes patients and makes time for them. This is a great quality. I really like her, she's also pretty blunt and just says what she wants to say instead of beating around the bush. It's refreshing to just hear what doctors are trying to say!
