Shoulder Examination
I recently had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Hany Elrashidy for a medical examination of my shoulder. Although I didn’t meet with Dr. Elrashidy directly, I want to express my sincere appreciation for his staff, who were incredibly professional, kind, and supportive throughout the entire visit. They took the time to carefully review my X-ray and MRI results and made sure I understood what was going on with my shoulder. I truly felt that they listened to my concerns and explained my condition clearly and patiently. What meant the most to me was that they provided a specific and thoughtful treatment plan that gives me hope for healing.I left the appointment feeling reassured and grateful, knowing that I’m finally on the right path toward recovery. Thank you to Dr. Elrashidy’s team for their compassionate care and dedication—it truly made a difference.

Great with young athletes!
Dr. Elrashidy has repaired ACLs for both my daughter (16) and son (13) with excellent results. He took a lot of time explaining our options. He was particularly thorough in explaining the surgical procedure for my son who is still growing. Highly recommend.

Fast relief of my shoulder pain
Dr. Hany Elrashidy is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. I had acute shoulder pain and struggled to book appointments with local clinics due to long wait times. Even urgent care visits only provided temporary relief. Fortunately, Golden State Orthopedics and Spine was able to schedule me a next-day appointment with Dr. Elrashidy, a top shoulder specialist. He was attentive, quickly diagnosed my issue, and provided effective treatment while accommodating my time constraints. Dr. Elrashidy was also very thorough in explaining the underlying causes of my condition and offered helpful advice for daily care. His encouraging demeanor put me at ease both physically and mentally. I’m truly grateful for the care I received from Dr. Elrashidy.

Fixed my shoulder reattaching it
My shoulder was literally fallen apart and I was upset with a cortisone shot that was given by another doctor. Dr Elrashidy ordered proper scans and made a surgery with no complications. I was able to get back to my normal sports and activities. He is one of the bests in his area since he not only made a surgery but also explained me everything using video and pictures.

Superior service
From when you first walk in the door, it was excellent service by the receptionist, and also the medical assistant's. The doctor listened to my concerns, and he seemed very knowledgeable on what was going on with my knees.

Just Not Good
This Doctor performed my original orthoscopy knee surgery. He was rude and condescending and instead of checking the integrity of his surgery he released me as his patient. His reasoning was because he didn't think that I liked him very much and he had done over 700 surgeries and no one had ever asked as many questions as I had. I was in a particular pain a month after surgery and asked him to perform MRI. He refused to do so. I ended up having a QME with a separate doctor a week after he discharged me. The QME stated that he could see visually that something was still wrong with my knee and could not believe the doctor never checked the Integrity of his surgery. 2 years later I had to find a new surgeon that had to remove the graph and redo the surgery. I have been told that the time I spent on my knee after doctor Elrashidy released me to work was time that should have been spent repairing my knee. I now have lasting effects that I would not have if he would have listened and checked

Very Rude
This guy is probably the worst doctor I have ever met in my entire life. He wouldn't even listen to what I have to say. Do not consult with him.

As others commented, I was seen by his PA. She asked for an x-ray and then MRI. When I did the MRI, Dr. Elrashidy showed up and was reading from the MRI report written by the MRI doctor. I asked him for what he saw in the MRI and an explanation other than what was written in the report. He asked me to see another Orthepoid for an additional diagnosis.

Sadly - my husband's experience with Dr. Elrashidy was not good. He went to him for surgery for a torn meniscus about 2 years ago. Following that surgery - his pain never improved, so Dr. Elrashidy gave him gel injections on 3 separate occasions - at 6-month intervals; and stated that a knee replacement would be the next step. Out of frustration - he went to a different, and highly recommended, orthopedic surgeon today who immediately sent me for an MRI, and found a remaining large complex tear of the body of the medial meniscus. This was never addressed by Dr. Elrashidy. Now - 2 years later, he will need a 2nd surgery to rectify these overlooked critical issues.

Booked an appointment for a shoulder problem. Dr Elrashidy didn’t show and sent his PA. What doctor doesn’t see the patients for initial evaluation? Shows he doesn’t care about people and bills for work he doesn’t do.

I went to see Dr. Elrashidy in Jan 2020 for shoulder pain. He never came to the office and his medical assistant did the diagnosis for me. Based on that, I went to therapy for 6 weeks, only to have the situation and pain worsened. When I went to see Dr. Elrashidy again, he was no where to be seen. The same medical assistant came and told me that Dr. Elrashidy doesn't come to clinic when the schedule is light! When I refused to see her and requested for the office manager, the manager promptly came back having a new cover story that Dr. Elrashidy was at some hospital. All this after almost an hour of wait for nothing. The manager didn't allow me to see any other orthopedic doctor at the facility saying it was against their policy. I just don't know how to wrap my head round this whole unpleasant experience.

Super fast recovery from rotator-cuff surgery including reattachment of bicep and rcuff tendons back onto the bone. Nerve block kept all pain away for 2 1/2 days. Only used Norco one night. Then Alleve for the remainder of the time. I actually drove 3 hours home the very next morning with complete control of the steering wheel. I hour after surgery I still had strength in my affected hand but no pain in the shoulder. Took off sling 1 week later and recovered almost fully by 10 weeks. Completely different than my other rotator cuff surgery which was so painful post surgery that I wanted to end it all the first night. This doctor is totaly amazing!
