I had surgery Jan 10,24 the whole experience was amazing the doctor made my family so comfortable explained everything my whole journey was great fee hiccups with billing and hospital but not with the doctor him self staff very nice

Poor communication with office
Made an appt for my husband as he needed to see a surgeon asap for an abscess. I scheduled the appt online and the office called shortly after saying that time was no longer available but they will call back with another time. They called back and said my husband can come at that time. On the morning of the appt I got a call from a woman who I could barely understand saying the appt will be cancelled because 1. The doctor is sick 2. They don’t have a referral 3. They don’t have visit notes. This was a HCA hospital follow up. They have access to HCA records and can see the hospital referred my husband as well as view his test results and ER visit notes. They were just making excuses for the doctor not being able to make it in to work that day. I ended up speaking to the office manager who explained the appt will be canceled and I didn’t have the energy to go back and forth so I found another surgeon the same day with Advent and received much better care.

He is a really nice guy and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Was really helpful and did a gastrointestinal surgery, all minimally invasive, and I have no scar!
