Bring $300 With You To The Appt
A colonoscopy requires a $300 deposit even if your insurance pays 100% of it. The office requires an explanation of benefits (EOB) before they reimburse you the $300. They have my insurance info and can easily confirm coverage but still need the $300. This coupled with the fact that Rosen has the personality of a water bottle really leaves a lot to be desired. I chose Rosen based on the recommendation of a friend but won't go back to him for future colonoscopies.

I've been going to Dr. Rosen for many years for colonoscopies. He is meticulous and I've never had any unpleasant experiences that I can recall. I trust him and will continue to go to him as long as he's in Practice.

I am mystified by some of the bad reviews of this medical doctor...I have had two experiences with Dr Rosen over the years and I would rate him as one of the very best doctors that I have ever been a patient of. From scheduling of appointments to presurgical visits to surgery and recovery I found Dr Rosen to always be attentive and thorough, answering any and all questions and taking time to fully explain the procedure and later the results while in recovery. My initial visit to him was based on recommendations from other of my trusted Doctors who also happened to be patients of his. I don’t think that you can get better recommendations than that. He has great knowledge of his specialty combined with years of experience in his field. In my opinion, I would not hesitate to visit Dr Rosen for any of your Gastrointerology issues.

Dr. Rosen is one of the rudest people my family and I have ever met. Always running late, and then rushes through. Gets peeved when you are unsure of something. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy

Staff was very unfriendly.... After already confirming the medical procedure was covered at 100% and not subject to my deductible… I was told I needed to pre-pay a $300 deposit to schedule the procedure. I would then have to wait for my insurance to pay them to get a refund of the $300. Am I making reservations for vacation? Or am I seeing a medical professional that takes my insurance ?

After waiting an hour AFTER my scheduled appoitment time the Dr. Rosen wants me to get colonoscopy and endoscopy. Then they tell me I HAVE to pay my deductible of $250.00. So I check with Blue Cross and they say for these procedures I have zero deductible. I call the office and they say that I still have to pay it and they'll refund it if they don't use it. REALLY??? I have NEVER had a REAL doctor do this!!!! Now I have to find another doctor. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

He treated me two years ago at the hospital for infectious colitis and sepsis. I called today to make an urgent appointment as I have abdominal cramping and have not had a bowel movement in 7 days. His staff said I would have to wait until Friday. When I explained it was an emergency she said maybe Thursday. I said I could die by then. She said it was the best she could do. Staff needs help.
