I had laparoscopic/robotic total hysterectomy by Dr. Wu and I feel so great! He has an excellent bedside manner. He takes his time listening and answers every questions without any judgment. I had a large fibroid and advanced stage endometriosis that required hysterectomy. I lost an ovary and Dr. Wu managed to save other ovary. He and his surgical team are so compassionate and just awesome. I expressed how stressed out I was for this surgery and Dr. Wu told me I have an option of getting meds that will calm me down right before going to the operating room. That really saved me. I was about to have a panic attack, but they shot me up with drugs so I barely remembered going into the operating room. The post surgery was excellent. I am just amazed how painless this surgery was. Yes, my incision sites hurt, but no internal pain. I was only on pain management med for 5 days. I didn't even need strong pain killers. Dr. Wu is wonderful, intelligent, and compassionate. I highly recommend.

I had a robotic hysterectomy with Dr Wu in November of 2022. I had zero complications and was back to normal faster than I thought was possible. He’s the most amazing surgeon and incredibly patient and caring every step of the way. I’m so glad I decided to travel to Johns Hopkins to have my procedure.

Excellent surgeon. Really cares. Performed total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy on me in February of this year due to severe stage 4 endometriosis that had glued everything together and unfortunately destroyed my ovaries. He took good care of me. Highly recommend.

Dr. Wu is an incredibly wonderful GYN surgeon. I was initially nervous and hesitant to get him as my surgeon because my GYN referred me to other surgeons - that didn't work out for me. I spent so much time doing my own research and after a series of consultations, I finally decided to get Dr. Wu. No regrets! I've had many medical procedures before but he has been the most patient and accommodating surgeon ever, quickly answering all my questions no matter how repetitive and has been so reassuring from start to finish. Some GYNs are so rough in pelvic exams and such and he is the only one who is the most considerate of my discomfort and the gentlest. I like that he is so meticulous and very intelligent and yet so personable and humble. I had a minimally invasive total hysterectomy in April and true enough he made sure the 4 incisions are as small as possible (because I'm a little vain! LOL) and healed very well after a week. I just had my post-op follow up visit and I am totally OK!

I was diagnosed by an exploratory laparotomy and confirmed by pathology that I had endometriosis and he insisted I didn't have the condition even though all of my other doctors said if he can read the pathology report it plainly states you have endometriosis. He ignored my pelvic pain. Saw him once and never returned and I recommend him to no one.

Every interaction with Dr Wu was a pleasure. It always felt like he saw me as a person, never spoke down to me, and is the only specialist I've ever had pick up the phone and call me without an appointment. He performed my laprascopic hysterectomy & I recovered so much more easily and quickly than anything I'd read was possible. Dr Wu is passionate about taking the best care of you and it shows up in all the details. I was shocked by how small & neat the incisions were. One entirely had healed and disappeared in a couple of weeks. I have no regrets about my surgery or my choice to go with Dr Wu.

Dr. Wu did my laproscopic hysterectomy in May and I cannot say enough good things about him. He's incredibly kind and thoughtful, as well as an incredibly talented surgeon. I had an unusual case and several surgeons had refused to operate. He was willing to handle my complex circumstances and did so with understanding and patience. I was on my feet the next day and was shocked at how quickly I recovered. He's extremely focused on consent and respect, as well as bodily autonomy. He always puts my feelings and concerns first, and ensures that I am always comfortable and feel safe. I never thought I'd see a male GYN because of past fears, but he has been so wonderful, I can't imagine entrusting my care to another.

Amazing bedside manner. Treats you like you matter and your questions matter. Doesn’t brush off a single comment or concern- simply amazing and appreciate him as a provider more than he will ever know. Had fibroids diagnosed by another practice and he was my second opinion. I am a question box and he really stopped and really listened. When you have never experienced a situation and realize how little you know about your body, having a doctor like Dr Wu- is so immensely calming. Thank you and would recommend to anyone with a vagina ;).

Hands down the best specialist Dr ever! He changed my life by diagnosing and treating something so many previous Drs could not figure out.
