Outstanding cardiac physician
Dr. Rashid was outstanding in his treatment of my cardiac issues and I would highly recommend him to anyone with the same diagnosis as I had. He also had a very good 'bedside manner' and appointments with him were not only very informative but also enjoyable.

Enjoyed the visit, despite its late start
I was seen promptly and courteously by the staff at Virginia Heart. However, Dr. Rashid ran late and I had to wait in the exam room. (I was told that he was delayed at the hospital, which is reasonable.) When he got to the office, it was about 15-20 minutes late. Once there, he was his usual pleasant self, and I always like spending a little time speaking with him. He was very attentive to my treatment and knew my meds without checking in front of me. I left the office thinking that my cardiology needs were in good hands.I like Dr. Rashid a lot and strongly recommend him.

Best electrocardiologist you could ever hope to fi
Dr. Rashid literally saved my life. He successfully performed 2 ablations that fixed a complicated and drug resistant afib. He has a deep knowledge not only of electrophysiology, but also of the bigger medical picture. I have a complicated medical history stemming from a bone narrow transplant earlier in life. Dr. Rashid looks at the whole person and is extremely insightful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. When nothing else worked, it was Dr Rashid who found an innovative approach that finally resolved the afib. He has continued to monitor my heart through covid and pneumonia and was able to get the afib caused by those infections under control with medication. I trust him completely and will always be grateful for his intervention and for tbe way he made me feel. I knew he genuinely cared and it gave me confidence and a sense of well being. I have tremendous respect and gratitude for Dr. Rashid.

The very best care!
Dr. Rashid is one of the best heart doctors in all of the DMV. Besides taking the time to learn how he can help his patients with their heart problem. He takes time to learn a little about his patients personal life. A very nice touch in this day and age.

Wonderful Doctor and Wonderful Human Being
I have been a patient of Dr. Rashid since his days at Georgetown. I have complete confidence in him, which is rare for these days I do not always feel that way about a doctor. He is the kind of person who, despite a busy schedule, can sit and talk with me and discuss matters other than cardiology. In short, he is a decent human being.

Dr Rashid was very concerned regarding my well being after an ablation for atrial fib. I had a persistent cough that was initially evaluated by my PCP. He contacted me and since the cough had not resolved he wanted to see me for his own evaluation. He did not want to depend on the assessment findings of others. He truly cares.

Not my regular doctor but called me in because he was filling in. He had read my heart monitor results and felt I need an immediate operation for a pacemaker. He was honest and straight forward about the results and made sure all appoints necessary for the operation were arranged. I highly appreciate his pro active response.
