Dr Weider is very nice. Has good bedside manners. We had 1 zoom and one in office meeting. Explained next steps and what to be done

Dr Wieder was thorough and helpful. She explained everything clearly and in depth. We had our appointment over telemedicine which was convenient and she was able to watch my child interact with others in our own home. I would definitely recommend Dr Wieder as a developmental pediatrician.

We needed to find my daughter someone just as COVID kicked in and Dr. Wieder has gone above and beyond to not only diagnose, but to treat my daughter. Her telehealth visits are always very thorough and she spends a good amount of time with my daughter AND us. She was very patient with diagnosing and finding an appropriate treatment plan. We are often given options, so we feel like we are a part of our child's treatment plan, not just told what to do. Always very good about following up with us and has a great response time. We are still with her currently and have no plans on finding another doctor as long as Dr. Wieder is available for us. I'd recommend her 100%.

After months of waiting for our toddler to see a developmental pediatrician we were given an appointment for 3/29/2022 at 11am via zoom since all initial appointments are Telehealth still. I should have asked for a different physician after reading these reviews but I figured since it took so long to get this appointment to begin with that we might as well do it. First red flag she was 10+ mins late and then went on a tangent regarding her internet TMI a quick apology was all that was needed. Then she wasn't actively listening my husband and I had to repeat ourselves several times. After going back and forth she finally wanted to observe our toddler. Mind you it's very tricky with a 20 month old to not have him stare at the computer when he isn't accustomed to any screen time. It all seemed very fruitless. The biggest kicker was she was quick to put us down when we disagreed on how to proceed she kept trying to get us to relent & had complete disregard for our son only being 20 months

Horrible experience with this doctor. Brought our child twice and both times were of very little value - seemed more interested in placing a quick diagnosis than anything else. More upsetting is the office staff. On both occasions, 3 months apart, their credit card machine "was down." They submitted to my insurance company incorrectly, which screwed up my explanation of benefits, which caused more problems getting reimbursed. My spouse and I both called the office on separate occasions, and each time we had to wait over 45 minutes on hold to speak to anyone. After 45+ minutes on hold, we tried to leave a message at the phone prompt, which simply said "thanks for using our voicemail system", and then hung up on us! We spent hours trying to get a person on the phone to correct their mistakes. We were told they were "short-staffed." They said they were "having credit card problems that day". Both days? 3 months apart? I hope no one has to go through what we have - and all for our child..

I was very disappointed with our appointment with Dr. Wieder. Dr. Wieder incorrectly misdiagnosed my son without doing more in-depth testing. I strongly caution other parents from searching out her services in the future. I did reach out to Columbia/NYP for a second opinion. They comforted me in the fact that Dr. Wieder was completely off the mark with her diagnosis of a neurological disorder. Again, I strongly recommend not seeking out Dr. Wieder's services.
