At my last appointment, I noticed his office staff doing parts of the exam that were usually done by him. I commented about that in a neutral manner to the person doing the tasks. Geggel came in and basically blasted me for daring to comment. I immediately changed docs. His bedside manner is just plain rude, and his staff are not much better. Would never go to him again or recommend him to anyone.

One of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. Would not answer questions, very demeaning in his manner towards me if I asked questions. Kept canceling my surgery wanting to do procedure after procedure without proper explanations. They were painful and apparently not helpful. I finally begin to lose confidence in him as a doctor and cancelled my next appointment. I asked for a phone call back never received anything and finally have gone elsewhere to a much more professional office.

Dr. Geggel performed cataract surgery on both my eyes last spring. I have had consistent (but different) problems with both eyes. He could have cared less. He is arrogant and uncommunicative. He provides no explanations and refuses to acknowledge that the outcome was not good or what a potential solution might be. He continually made me feel as though I was some sort of hysteric! My vision is very poor and I am seeking help elsewhere.

I've seen Dr Geggel for Recurrent Corneal Erosion (RCE), and I've had the best possible experiences with him. He recognizes the urgent/emergent nature of the condition and has never had a problem shoe-horning me into his already busy schedule. I've been told by numerous people in the hospital, that if you have issues with your cornea(s), that he's the guy to see, and thus far, there hasn't been a truer statement.
