I have been seeing him for about a year now. He is very smart. Doesn't waste my time with tons of medicines and doesn't push anything on me. He gives me a lot of information on each treatment and lets me ask questions and take time to make a decision. He takes great extensive notes, so if you want a doctor who isn't noting EVERYTHING you are saying so that they can evaluate later and continue to treat you reading the notes so he remembers your situation, don't see him. He takes a good amount of time to see you. Doesnt keep you there for an hour, he is straight to the point and helpful. 5 stars all the way. Dr. Chitiva literally changed and saved my life.

If I could i would put no star. Really bad experience today. It took us two months to get an appointment with Dr. Chitiva. I had an appointment at 11:15 and got there 5-10 min later. When I got there there was nobody not a soul in the waiting room and about 10 secretaries chatting in the office. The secretary and the office manager turned me away because I was few minutes late. I never ever had such experience with any other doctors. The office manger was rude had no compassion. Obvisouly she do

We had to drive almost two hours to see Dr Chitiva because of a lack of adolescent doctors in my area. Now that my daughter is 18, she still wants to see him because of the way he answered our questions and really helped a lot. I would recommend him to anyone.

Office staff is rude and the doctor has one hand on the door knob. He makes no eye contact with us during the visits and is too preoccupied getting his notes done quickly so the next patient can come in. There is no personalized attention.

He relates well and listens attentively to the adolescent. In our case he ordered a comprehensive psychological test to rule out or confirm his diagnosis. His treatment plan is thorough. He customized the type and dosage of medication to the patient. His personality is that of a caring physician.
