Dr. Hayden Ansinelli, MD

Dr. Ansinelli was kind and informative at every appointment. He explains things in detail and takes time to be fully engaged and present. At one visit he sensed that I was concerned about an issue and he circled back to reassure me after the appointment. This is a scary journey and I wish all my oncologists had Dr. Ansinelli's bedside manner.

I first met Dr. Ansinelli after a breast cancer surgery. We had an immediate connection after we discovered we had both graduated from Marshall University in West Virginia. During our discussion, I mentioned my sister was in early stages of Alzheimer’s. Not only was he an expert in radiation technology and treatment, his knowledge of dementia was extraordinary. He explained about recent medical advances in early detection and treatment of dementia, and advised me to personally participate in a series of testing to determine my propensity for dementia. In addition, he suggested I give my siblings the same information. Besides my sister; I have three brothers. I followed his advice and gave each of them what Dr. Ansinelli recommended. So meeting Dr. Ansinelli was not just a double bonus, he is a genuinely nice person.. While all this was going on, he became a first time daddy to a baby boy. I am so fortunate to have met Dr. Ansinelli and give him my highest recommendation.

Dr. Ansinelli and his staff were terrific! He was very knowledgeable and willing to spend time answering questions; and doing research when necessary to answer even more questions, even when about other doctors’ care plans, to coordinate treatment plan continuity with all. He seemed to be a very good and thorough team player with other cancer team members. He went above and beyond to coordinate with insurance for the “most appropriate” treatment for my condition and my physical make-up. He clearly communicated well with his staff and provided them the information they needed to best support patients. His staff was friendly, professional, and courteous during all of my treatments over 6 weeks. There was not a single day when staff were not happy and helpful - what a welcome change from most offices! And how great to support interns to gain hands-on experience. I had a VERY positive experience with this office, staff and Dr. Ansinelli; and would highly recommend them for treatment.

Dr. Ansinelli treated me for breast cancer. He is such a caring doctor. He is thorough and is very knowledgable about his field. He never rushed me and answered my many questions thoroughly. I always felt calmer after seeing him. His staff is excellent too: Gilma, at the front desk, Angel the MA, RN Paloma and Catalina, the radiation specialist. I hope I got those names right because each and every one were caring and so good at their jobs. I am so appreciative of his and his staff's kindness and expertise through what has been a difficult time.

Dr. Ansinelli is very patient to explain the treatments and possible side effects, and how to minimize and tolerate them. Answered our many questions and calmed our nerves. Up to date on treatment options and very technically savvy. Very happy we were referred to him.
