Left my abled mother paralyzed after her surgery. Sent her away in an ambulance and has left trama in her and our lives. Shouldve never did the surgery when we saw him show up late.

Surgery and follow up care
In June 2023, a cyst was found in my spinal canal. Dr. Eltahawy performed a very complicated, successful surgery which led to a complete recovery. I owe this surgeon and his team, my sincere, gratitude and appreciation. I would recommend this professional, compassionate, and empathetic group of individuals to anyone seeking neurosurgery.

Dr. Eltahawy is a excellent Neurosurgeon
Dr. Hazem Eltahawy is good at his specialty… neurosurgery of the spine. The doctor had performed a surgery in 2011 on my back which was successful! The surgery on 3/28/23 was very successful also. I have dengerative disc disease so he did work on a different disc helping me to be able to walk & control my acute pain. I thank Jehovah God for his great ability to relieve pain and suffering.

Bad doctor
Bad doctor and this team before he do me surgery I was having back pain after surgery I have pain and drop leg I don’t want any one to see him before miss your back and drop your leg

I had Roto Scoliosis so bad my spine formed the letter C in my back. In 2015 Dr Eltahaway did a spinal reconstruction from my pelvis to cervical spine. At this point going on 2 yrs I only take Ibuprophen for discomfort. Dr Eltahaway will be the ONLY Dr I will ever let touch my back as long as I live.

The entire experience with Dr. Eltahawy and his staff was excellent. Dr. Eltahawy is quiet and reserved, yet very knowledgeable and patient. He explained the surgery in great detail, answering all our questions. His staff at St. Mary Mercy Hospital was very accommodating when scheduling my appointments and surgery. From the arrival to the hospital to discharge, everything went great. It's an added bonus that he is close to home, but I would have traveled out of my area to see him, if necessary.
