Dr. Heather Furnas, MD

It's taken me long time to write this review. I had body work done by doctor Furnas & now I wish I had not. Hindsight is everything, so I am sharing mine in case it helps anyone out there. Now I am having her work redone with a new doctor, beginning with totally redoing an ugly tummy tuck procedure that left me with a lot of sagging skin, horrible dog-ears & bad scar placement which has caused me a lot of insecurity. I also have dog-ears on my breasts and my chest just doesn't look great at all for a number of reasons. Doctor Furnas is a polite, friendly person and that is why I have held off on reviewing her because I hate to say anything negative. But I just don't feel right if I don't at least give my perspective and help other patients out there. You don't want to waste money on bad work that needs to be totally redone, or to wind up looking weird, or feeling embarrassed about your body when you go through all that trouble and healing. I am sorry but I can't recommend her.

I can’t recommend Dr. Furnas enough! Not only does Dr. Furnas have impeccable credentials but she was easy to talk to and could clearly explain the procedure. Dr. Furnas was meticulous about not only my rhinoplasty but also my pre and post operative care. I love my outcome! I would do it again.

I had wanted to have breast augmentation for many years, but was fearful. I finally decided to do it at just under 50 years old and am so glad I did. Dr. Furnas was very friendly, professional, and explained what the procedure might help me realistically achieve. Surgery itself was quick. I followed all of the post-op instructions carefully afterwards and recovery was easier than expected. I am happy with my results and wish I’d done it sooner. I would definitely recommend Dr. Furnas to others!

Dr. Furnas is more than just a surgeon, she’s an artist! Her work goes above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone for their cosmetic surgery.
