Dr. Higgins--a good doctor--not her office staff
I have no qualms with Dr. Higgins. However, after deciding to side with her receptionist rather than her patients, I question her judgment. The appt. card said 3 pm for my husband's appt. We arrived at 2:50, checked in with the receptionist then sat down. Patients who had come in later (and far later) than us kept being called. At 3:55, I finally asked the receptionist why we went called and she said "Oh, your appt isn't till 4:00" She said nothing when we checked in at 3:50 and nothing as she clearly say us sitting there for more than an hour. The appt. card I had (but not with me, unfortunately) clearly said 3:00. So, we sat there for over an hour waiting to be called when this could have been resolved when we checked in. We just received a letter from Dr. Higgins "dismissing us as patients' because I told the receptionist that she handled it wrong (this is the 3rd time she screwed up something for us). Dr. Higgins came out and I explained it to her (in a whisper)so as not
