Dr. Heather Kruse, MD

I first saw Dr. Kruse when I had moved back to DBQ. I was having a hard time adjusting and was thinking maybe some anti depressants. She instead sent me to counseling and I have been doing 110% better. Just made another appointment for my yearly.

She is a very nice person, however, a poor listener when I have to repeat myself four times and answer the same question four times with the exact same response. She seems to lack the experience necessary in complex medical situations. Almost impossible to get a hold of since she only works at CCHC two days a week. Response time to questions and follow up procedure was a nightmare!!! I had better luck with Jake, the Nurse Practitioner. First time in my 56 years of life that I was in danger and without two of my blood pressure medications for over several (over seven days). I was forced to have my prescriptions refilled by a different Doctor. After 3 weeks, 4 phone calls to my Pharmacy and to CCHC Dr. H. Kruse failed to refill the prescribed non-narcotic medications. I was at a high risk for stroke and Heart Attack. I was forced to seek another Doctor. I have ZERO CONFIDENCE in Dr. Heather Kruse Make your own decision... Dr. Kruse might be a good fit for you.
