I would not recommend this doctor.
This doctor dismissed my mothers health concerns that were serious. My mother was having speech concerns and this doctor dismissed those concerns and stated it was due to “old age”. My mother was 58 at the time of this appointment. My mom has been suffering from this speech issue for a couple years now because of this doctors disregard. After seeing a new doctor and seeing the extreme concern of this new doctor. I am just appalled of this doctors actions. My mother is getting CT scans because of this issue when this should have been happening when my mother brought it up to this doctor 2 years ago.

Unlike some of the reviews posted, I called the office with a concern and was seen the next morning. Dr. MacKey-Fowler has never made me feel rushed and has always displayed genuine concern and care for my well-being. She made a point to ask if there were any other concerns and dignified me when I needed to come in two weeks later with a concern I had forgotten to mention. She patiently listened and gently helped me to feel comfortable to speak freely about what was happening. She made sure to give me practical advice and exercises and ordered blood work to help diagnose the issue.

All I can say is at my age I've had quite a few doctors and Dr. MacKey-Fowler is by far the best doctor I've seen. She is very informed, intelligent, congenial, empathetic and does not rush you out of the office. I can't say enough good things.

Can never get an appointment , even for acute illness. Have to make appt. for annual physical over a year in advance. Changing to another doctor, she obviously is going for quantity not quality of care.

I received excellent care from Dr Mackey Fowler who has a wonderful caring bedside manner She thoroughly checked me after reviewing all my records and asking many specific health questions and clearly answered any questions that I had. She personally gave me a very much needed treatment. She spend a long time with me, explained everything about my condition, the prescriptions she ordered, and told me to call her if I had any concerns at all. I would highly recommend this doctor.
