Upon arrival to the ER Dr. Sibley recognized immediately that my husband was seriously ill. She skillfully and efficiently started life saving procedures. Dr. Sibley called in the specialists who joined her in initiating the intensive interventions in the resuscitation room. She was inclusive and transparent with me about the gravity of his situation. Her professional manner gave me confidence that my husband was receiving excellent care.

Uncaring
Very dismissive and unfriendly. Not thorough. Extremely long wait time in ED. In 5 years this is my worse experience at UCONN.

My dad came into the ER from an dementia facility. Dr. Sibley correctly diagnosed him as dehydrated going carefully through protocols to determine that with a dementia patient that can be very difficult. She order a CT scan while we were talking to her and a technician came in just as she was done. This was after they had few ambulances come in at the same time. Well done.

My daughter was transported to ER. by an ambulance. She was there for a long time and no one examined her. When we got there, the nurse( Chris Stall) was discharging her. We asked about their funding and he said he does not have any information. We asked to see the doctor, Dr. Heather Sibley came in and told us that she has to examin her. We asked why were you going to discharge her. She told us that she mixed up the files and by mistake was going to discharge her. This isn’t good can be deadly!!
