Dr. Heather Yeckes-Rodin, MD

The moment you're diagnosed with cancer changes your life. You are suddenly at the mercy of a lot of doctors. This woman treated me like a number; canceling 4 times for 2 different appointments without explanation why, and each cancelation was for 3 to 4 months later! If you want to hear 'Harvard' bombs or about her childrens' private schools ( forget about YOU), go ahead. You won't be disappointed.

Wished my brother had listened to me and went to memorial Sloan or one of the other well known cancer centers. He "put his life in her hands" made me want to throw up to hear that. In 15 months never had a day without suffering. She didn't recommend surgery from the beginning and I begged him to go for second opinion he wouldn't. He waited for her to decide when she finally thought he should go speak to a surgeon about surgery but it was way too late. Do NOT go to her with stage 4 cancer if you want any chance of survival. I hold her responsible for his endless suffering

Terrible Doctor.... Appt. was cancelled twice and had to wait one month both times to be scheduled... When time finally came, it was just as quick and uncaring... She hardly asked any questions... She did not even look at Ultrasound or MRI, nor discuss any of it.. The appointment was very rushed and dismissed... Very disappointed in her approach to medicine and toward patients... Only interested in dispersing and prescribing dangerous meds... Terrible experience !!!!

Dr. Yeckes is a dedicated physician with great compassion and a tremendous big heart. She focuses on the patients health and well being intensely. Her tenacious approach gives you the necessary drive to improve your health and as important she is there for you, the patient, when truly needed. I have been a patient of Dr. Yeckes for over 7 years and thank the heavens above for being referred to her by another great physician, Dr. John Lanza. I believe that my existence on this Earth today, is due to her patient care and medical knowledge. Thank you for all you do Dr. Yeckes and continue your journey of helping patients with their medical concerns/illnesses.

She saved my life

She is too busy and pre-occupied to answer simple questions or discuss prognosis, etc., and compassion is something I never saw in her in the years she was my oncologist. Not all physicians are able to relate to every patient and vice-versa. I guess that's where we started and it never improved. The staff, on the other hand, is very good and helpful.

I highly recommend her. She is a compassionate person and a dedicated doctor who wants to see all her patients get well and live normal and healthy lives. If it wasn't for her I don't think I would be here right now. Thanks again for bringing me back to life. You're the best????

Doctor Yeckes is by far the BEST Hemotoligist Oncologist on the Treasure Coast. She saved my life. She is very knowledgeable, upfront, honest, caring and compassionate. She takes time explaining things to you and doesnt sugar coat the truth. She truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her to everyone I come in contact with and sing her praises. Her staff of nurses and office associates are so very sweet and caring. They all go above and beyond to do all they can to help. Thank you Doctor Yeckes for all you have done ! You truly are the best!!

I have a very complex blood cancer (Multiple Myeloma). I have been to many exceptional doctors during my ongoing treatments. Dr. Yeckes-Rodin is the best among them. Unquestionably the most compassionate and well informed in the south Florida region. I feel very confident that I am receiving the best care possible. Unlike many, she is not driven by profits. Very highly recommend her to all seeking cancer treatment and quality care. All her staff are well trained in cancer care as well.

Dr. Yeckes is truly amazing. She is always highly motivated, driven, and concerned about your health and will fight for you to stay healthy and for what is best for you. I am glad she is my oncologist! I just love her to death for everything she’s doing and has done for me. I highly recommend her to everyone. I have been under Dr. Yeckes-Rodin care for the past 6 years, from the start, her ultimate concern was to get my health back in order. Her relentless approach to improving patients' health is refreshing. She is straight forward, direct, informative and above all, CARING. I absolutely love Doctor Heather, she is one of my heros, she helped save me so i could continue to be a father to my children and a husband to my wife! She is so caring, loving and compassionate to her patients! Yes she is hard, a strong willed little spit fire but if you need a oncologist that is willing to do what it takes to save your life then you found her! I truly believe in this Dr. and even before getting sick watched her save a close friend who every other doctor gave up on!

My mother was under her care and was treated like a number, not a person. Her office is overcrowded with too many patients and understaffed. My mother was never educated or given ny information before the start of her chemotherapy. Was told by doctor Yekes that she had moderate neuropathy when in reality she had spinal cord problems which were never addressed. This doctor almost cost my mother her life.
