In January 2024, I attempted to schedule an appointment with Dr. Delgado. However, I was informed that I needed to see Yusely Hernández, the NP, before being able to see Dr. Delgado. On January 18, I had my appointment with Yusely Hernández, and I must say that she provided excellent care and displayed a high level of professionalism. My follow-up appointment was initially scheduled with Dr. Delgado on February 15. However, upon arriving at the appointment, I was informed that it had been changed to see Yusely instead. While I hold great respect for Yusely's work, I explained to her that due to my medical conditions (being a cancer survivor and having other health issues), I specifically wanted to see Dr. Delgado. As a result, I was given a third appointment for March 4th to see Dr. Delgado. To my surprise and disappointment, I called earlier on March 4th only to discover that my appointment had once again been changed to see Yusely. The administrative office explained to me that Dr. Delgado is retiring and is no longer accepting new patients. It would have been helpful to have been informed of this from the beginning so that I could explore other options. Additionally, I had a very negative experience with the lab and test requests associated with my medical care. I had to call the office multiple times while waiting at Labcorp because they had failed to send the necessary request. Furthermore, Baptist Hospital did not receive the authorizations for three scans that I had scheduled in advance. When I contacted my insurance provider, Aetna, they informed me that they had never received the orders. I had to reschedule one of the scans three times, and the final rescheduling was done through my new primary care office. Overall, I felt extremely frustrated and disappointed with the administrative office of Dr. Delgado. The lack of communication and organizational issues surrounding my appointments, as well as the mishandling of lab and test requests, significantly impacted my experience as a patient.

No I was not happy with Dr. Delgado he is reckless with medications... he does not see the big picture, I am not saying he is to blame but when it comes to my mom dies not that long ago, and I think the medications he prescribed her was a factor. I am devastated. I will not refer this doctor to NOONE. Be aware... any doctor that changes and provides medications to member's like nothing there is an issue of accountability!!!!!!. NOT happy will never refer anyone to him EVER!!! again. NEVER
