Dr. Heidi Christie, DPM

There was a long wait time, but I was a new patient. Is that why?

Dr. Christie is amazing. She is so kind and helpful. I was dreading trying another podiatrist to fix my foot issue. After her visit, I will look no further. She solves my issues quickly and thoroughly. Myself and extended family all see her regularly with no complaints. I refer her to all my friends, etc because she's so good.

Dr. Christie is very observant. I had dropped something on my foot and the nail bed was slightly bruised. I had a routine annual visit and, even tough my nails were polished, she noticed and examined carefully and found a blood blister. She popped it and gave me instructions for the next week. I went back for a follow up to make sure it hadn’t become infected.Another doctor I have used would have given in a quick look and wouldn’t have even seen the blister. She is very personable!

She did my yearly check for diabetic feet. Dr Christie was friendly, thorough, and professional.

No one is vaccinated or wearing a mask despite the Delta variant. Dr. Christie, who says she never acts out of fear, is very proud of this. When I raised questions about her not being vaccinated, she started walking out and said she would not treat my Mom’s callus. I know she doesn’t have to take the Hippocratic Oath, as she is not an MD, but she is required to take “The Podiatric (a word not recognized by healthgrades) Physician’s Oath.” I do not think she has read it - at least in any time this century. She got VERY upset when I noted that she was not an MD. We utilized her without any significant doubt, however, until today. Her words, her actions, and her office all show she does not cate about her patients. If ANY worker or just her were masked, the issue would never have arisen. She is, however, very proud and very defensive about being unmasked and never getting vaccinated. Avoid her. There are other educated podiatrists in Montgomery whom you should use.

I will never use Dr. Christie again. I went in for an ingrown toenail and was butchered. It got infected and I attempted to contact the office and they never contacted me back. It turns out that even though I updated my information 2 weeks before the surgery they still had the old number on file. The infection got worst and I was sent for a bone scan. They gave me the wrong directions to the place and then sent me to an infectious disease doctor that no longer practices. Just Terrible!
