I am grateful that Dr Gray was my surgeon when I needed a full hysterectomy and determination of the status of my cancer. Her communications are kind, thorough, clear, and unrushed. Her team is also friendly and thorough. At a difficult time for me, they inspired trust and respect.

I moved to Seattle recently having had a uterine cancer diagnosis and treatment elsewhere the previous year. Dr. Gray was assigned to me, I did not choose her, but her reviews seemed fine at reading. Her staff was gracious and welcoming. But the doctor came into the room and did not make eye contact, treated me very coldly, as if we knew each other and she did not like me. Maybe something from my medical records? Maybe a bad mood? I do not know. She did not listen to me, ask about my concerns, or seem interested in explaining her recommendations to me. I was shocked by the experience, and it still haunts me. I thought it might be part of the UW culture so I moved my care elsewhere. When you have cancer, it is really important to find a doctor who shows some concern and compassion, someone who can communicate with you and treat you fairly and objectively. Dr. Gray has no concern or compassion and no communications skills.

Dr. Gray was highly competent, and she always made sure I was included in the decision-making process regarding my treatment. She goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort and understanding.
