Worst doctor ever! Danger to Patients!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This “doctor” is the most unprofessional, incompetent, and careless medical provider I have ever encountered. From the moment I walked into the office, it was a disaster. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive, the waiting area was filthy, and I had to wait over two hours past my scheduled appointment time. When I was finally seen, the doctor barely listened to my concerns, rushed through the exam, and completely misdiagnosed me. After seeking a second opinion from a REAL doctor, I found out the prescribed treatment could have caused serious harm.On top of that, the doctor was arrogant, condescending, and seemed more interested in rushing me out the door than actually helping me. They refused to answer basic questions, rolled their eyes when I asked for clarification, and had the bedside manner of a brick wall. I left feeling completely unheard, disrespected, and WORSE than when I arrived.Should lose her license. Do yourself a favor—AVOID

Telehealth
My son had the flu and she was the doctor on call over the weekend that I spoke to. I told her I was very nervous because I didn’t get my son the flu shot this year since he was sick multiple times during the season to get the shot and somehow the time just slipped by me and she goes “well that ship has sailed” and she told me how they sent out so many email reminders about it. She also proceeded to tell me that healthy kids die from the flu when meanwhile I just wanted to know what to be concerned about. Instead of making me feel ok she made me so worried that something was going to happen to my child. I was so nervous for days after our conversation it was terrible. I don’t know how anyone could ever think to tell a parent that information when calling about advice on what to do for the flu and saying how nervous you are. Just so sad and I really hope she doesn’t proceed to do this to other worried parents.

Taking my son in for a sick visit: Dr Heidi Russ is callus, insensitive and just plain mean. She had this mean girl attitude with my son and me while at her office in Manhasset. We are regular patients yet were experiencing an issue due to my ex-husband having my sons DOB wrong on his insurance by one year. And she would not see us. During a pandemic, in which I haven’t been working...She was insisting that I had to pay out of pocket for the doctor visit or she would not see my son who was clearly in excruciating pain. As a doctor she could see my child was in pain, the appoint was scheduled bc he was in pain and he’s a regular patient and once again he was in distress! Yet, she let us ponder in the waiting area for over an hour on the phone with the insurance company instead of trying to treat my child. While she made negative comments, clearly had an attitude that I was taking so long on the phone (as if I had control of that). She mentioned her and her staff needed to leave an

My children have been patient for several years and never once have I ever experienced such a lack of professionalism from any of the other physians or support staff. I recently had a sick visit with my child (3 years old) and as she attempted to proceed with the examination she was met with resistance from my child. That made her upset, so I asked for another Physician to complete examination. She then left the room to speak horribly about the situation to support staff in earshot of patients.
