Dr. Helen Hui-Chou, MD

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Hui-Chou. She was unprofessional and quick-tempered, with a rude demeanor that felt dismissive and condescending. Her communication was poor, and she provided little to no patient education or attention to my concerns.She conducted only a minimal examination and didn’t even look at my MRI before making assumptions about my condition. On top of that, she confidently stated that a cyst was benign without running any tests, dismissing my concerns with a know-it-all attitude. It felt as though her ego took precedence over proper medical care.I would not recommend her to anyone seeking a thorough, respectful, and compassionate healthcare provider.

This doctor has horrible bed side manners. Not at all interested in the issues I was having with my hands. Her advice was to take anti inflammatory drugs around the clock, and get over the counter medication, go to PT. No mention of any possible diet or lifestyle changes, no real conversation, the time slot was set for 15 min for the appointment, she stayed 10. I should have taken my $125.00 co pay and fed the homeless. I'd give this doctor negative zero stars if possible.

Worst doctor. She is rude. Does not listen to the patient and basically told me that I had to take 3,000 mg of NSAIDS per day to see if my condition improved. I'm sorry, but that is very irresponsible. She gives you no additional options. She acts like she is a genius and you should shut up and bow to her. If you don't, she won't see you again because you simply cannot disagree with her demeanor, knowledge or service. Unbelievable!

I have nothing but good experiences with this provider. I started with injections for the thumbs locking and the injections never hurt. Also had two surgeries for my carpel tunnel and they went great. Pre and post visits were quick and easy. Very attentive and explains things thoroughly. I would recommend this provider in a heart beat.

Thanks for cancelling my wife's appointment because she has "bad" insurance. She was already depressed from her long painful medical treatments.

Was referred to u for breast recon following a double mastectomy/hysterectomy. After 2 minutes of meeting u, u tell me I'm "obese"&only "skinny women" are low risk enough for triple surgery/immediate breast recon. Very rude&tactless!! I'm already in a fragile state, about to undergo surgery to remove all my womanhood&u fat shame me like that?!? Could you at least build rapport w/ me before u tell me I'm a fat pig. Compassion, tact,&basic social skills should be min req in ur job. Really harsh!
