Dr Lyon is always late, latest appt was 45 minutes late, prior was an hour. In my most recent appointment she seemed more concerned about my parenting than my sons symptoms. Stating I was convincing my son of his symptoms. Telling me I was too 'restrictive' after disagreeing with her suggestion because my son didn't like a sport she suggested. She even scoffed at me when I told her why my son didn't like it. He's seven. He's tried almost every sport there is and having the summer off was a huge inconvenience to her. Furthermore she stated there was no restrictions on his activity right after the Orthopedic doctor said there were restrictions due to hypermobility in his joints, like no contact sports. Make sure you read her notes, she doesn't activily listen there is always misinformation in my notes. Be prepared to advocate for yourself. I have had testing prove I have one condition over another, she said it's probably a mild but won't accurately reflect diagnosis.
