Dr. Helen Mabry, MD

I feel so lucky to have had Dr. Mabry through my breast cancer surgeries. Not only is she experienced, confident, knowledgeable, and skillful; she’s truly an advocate of women, and her listening skills unlocked the needs and goals for my situation. Her smiling yet direct demeanor placed me at ease quickly, and I left her office with her personally written plan in hand. I have been to many specialists from Detroit to Ann Arbor, but none surpassed my experience with Dr. Mabry. In addition, her entire staff is dedicated to helping with many questions and concerns along the way. Breast cancer is a continuing journey and having Dr. Mabry is certainly the best possible way to start.

Dr. Mabry is amazing! Clearly knowledgable in her field, takes time to hear you out & seems to genuinely care, and has a very calming presence.

I saw Dr. Mabry for a second opinion, and then my surgery and have never felt more comfortable and happy with a doctor. She listened to my entire (long) history without any interruptions and it was clear by her questions that she heard and understood everything. The outcome of my surgery was amazing and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mabry!

After several years of ‘everything is fine’ she was finally the doctor who listened to my concerns and did something positive.

She was supposed to remove a fibroid through the areola, but made a gash on the side of my daughters breast, not that she's gonna be a titty dancer but her self esteem is shot now, and she didn't let us know she was changing her route per our conversation in consultation. First case of the day and Dr. definitely cut corners (litterally) She needs to fix this I'm not going away. No shortcuts on my daughter.

My breast cancer surgeon was going on a leave and I needed a port. I had faith my excellent surgeon would recommend the best and I am so grateful. Dr. Mabry is also an excellent surgeon who is very Kind, compassionate , down to earth and highly recommended. She explained all questions my husband and I had in detail . At every appointment and at my port surgery she gave us all the time we Needed to feel comfortable and confidant that I was in excellent hands. She is awesome.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Mabry! The second she introduced herself and looked into my eyes, i knew she was THE ONE. Having just been diagnosed with breast cancer and staring down the barrel of surgery etc., she guided my family and i through a scary situation with calm professionalism, composure, empathy and confidence. She turned what was a worrisome time into something that is now in the rearview mirror! She is outstanding ... i feel so very thankful to be her patient!!
