Dr. Helge Simon, MD

I would like to take this opportunity to especially thank Dr.Simon for his ignorance for prescribing medication (2)diuretics on top of what I was already taking. (First time I have seen this guy )Without any test results of Any kind out of the clear blue. I was doing excellent on the meds I was on. I changed Dr.’s and had blood work done and an echocardiogram and passed with flying colors. Nothing wrong with the meds I am taking. Due to the meds Simon prescribed on top of what I was already taking, I became severely dehydrated and had sever muscle cramps, muscle spasms,and triggered sciatic nerve problems.I’ve been to therapy, x-rays, ct scan and mri. Nothing wrong except shows sciatic nerve issues caused from dehydration. This has caused a lot of cost in co-pays. Thanks to Simon not being a qualified cardiologist. Just saying Heart patients BEWARE. This is what happened with my visit. He,s no Dr. Brenya who fixed me before he moved on. Good luck to all who goes to him.

My father was referred to him from his PCP. Dr Simon was 45 minutes late for his first appointment of the day. Then proceeded to tell my dad he only had two minutes to tell him what is going on. As an advanced practice registered nurse. I know this is completely unacceptable. My dad left the appointment, angry and confused. He couldn’t understand anything. Dr. Simon was telling him and Dr. Simon continued to talk fast. My dad left feeling dismissed and unsure with what is wrong with him. We will be finding a new physician for his care that puts an emphasis on patient centered care and isn’t worried only about themselves.
