Dr. Hema Sundaram, MD

Dr. Sundaram is very knowledgeable dermatologist who cares deeply about her patients. She uses holistic approach and provides superb treatment. Her office staffs are very kind, resourceful and friendly.

She was amazingly fast as well as was her staff. Answered all questions and performed the excision I needed quickly and painlessly.

Routine visit found a tick that was then removed.

It was quick and efficient.

I found Dr. Sundaram on Facebook because she was doing an Eczema study. I didn’t qualify as my eczema was not as prominent as required by the study, but I liked this office so much that I decided to stay on as a patient. I had to change an appointment once and I forgot to call before 6:00pm. At 6:15pm that day, I received a call from Dr. Sundaram herself. I was floored! And we rescheduled me then. No petty “You have to pay.” arguments —just a reschedule. She takes Medi I have already referred my daughter snd her best friend, and 2 others I know from school to here in the Rockville office. Dr. Sundaram is so nice and caring and so is the rest of her staff. It is so nice to have an all female doctor’s office, especially in dermatology. I had an annual skin cancer check, and a mole sent to biopsy that was fine. I also had a couple things frozen off with nitrogen. This dermatologist is also testing me on my skin for common household things I might be allergic to.

I got to the office a few minutes early and the appointment started right on time. Everyone there was polite. Dr Sundaram prescribed an ointment. She said if I found my copay for the prescription was too much, call her and she would find a lower cost5 alternative. I have not had any problems with this office.

the doctor and her staff are truly concerned that your visit is treated with compassion, expert diagnosis and treatment. The facility is very clean and my appointments have always been timely. I appreciate the follow up appts. also.

Dr. Sundaram is absolutely the best. She’s so caring and warm. Her knowledge and resourcefulness in treating my rare condition enabled me to have peace of mind, courage and commitment. I’m thankful for her and her great staff.

Recently had some carcinoma removed by Dr. Sundaram. My options were clearly and understandably explained. We conversed during the actual removal, which kept me relaxed. Follow-up was explained and has gone as expected. Have been going there for several years, usually seeing Tiffany. Office staff is professional and efficient. I've always felt confident there, and highly recommend them.

Dr.Sundaram clearly knows her stuff and gives thorough explanations which I really appreciate. I’m very happy so far with her treatment. Staff is nice but it took a long time (30 minutes) before the Dr saw me after being placed in the office. That may be the downside of a good Dr...others figured it out too

She takes an abundance of time with me and explains to me clearly the situation. The office is very nice and the staff is courteous and professional. The examination rooms are always very clean. I consider Dr. Sundaram a close colleague and friend. She is all around an excellent Doctor and she is the only Dermatologist that I will consider seeing. ?She goes above and beyond to ensure you get the most appropriate professional care.

Do not go here! The exam rooms aren't gross and the bedside manner was poor as well. I was explained very littleness about treatment options and felt rushed throughout the whole process. I was very uncomfortable and felt scammed.
