My experience with Dr. Klotz was 100% great! I was apprehensive about getting a colonoscopy but he put my fears to rest with his patience and kindness..I wish all doctors had the wonderful 'bedside' manner that Dr. Klotz has..

Highly recommend
I recently had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with Dr. Klotz and I have never been so impressed with any Doctor and staff. Everyone I have dealt with in this office have been the most professional, knowledgeable, well organized, polite and kind of any doctors office I have ever been in and I'm a senior citizen. It was the best experience I've ever had with any doctor in my life. I can't thank them enough for everything.

Confirmed Appointment Canceled
I am disabled and have numerous appointments, some scheduled a year in advance. That's why I often call the day before to confirm the day and time of my appointment. It is extremely difficult to get ready for and to get to appointments being disabled. I had called the day before to confirm my appointment. But when I arrived the next day I was told I didn't have an appointment. I told the receptionist that I called the day before and my appointment was confirmed. Her response was, you didn't talk to me. What kind of answer is that. I was immediately on the defensive. And was very upset because of all I went through to get to my appointment. After expressing my displeasure and finally getting an apology I left. The next day I get a letter stating that I am being discharged as a patient. And that forms were enclosed to sign and have my records transferred. Except, their were no forms enclosed. I had been a patient of Dr. Klotz for over 15 years. The staff there is unfriendly and rude.

Changed my life
I had gone to several doctors to figure out my stomach issues and Dr. Klotz succeeded in diagnosing and giving me a Diet plan within 5 minutes. I haven’t felt this good in years!!!!

Dr. Klotz found my cancer
Dr. Klotz saved my life. I had trouble swallowing and the hospital was booking outpatient procedures two and three months in the future because they were short staffed. Dr. Klotz got me into the hospital quickly for a procedure and found cancer in my esophagus. He next found a surgeon because I needed a feeding tube placed in my abdomen. Treatment followed in form of chemo and radiation, then surgery. I am now (two years later) cancer free. I found him to be an excellent doctor who always treated me with respect. Thank you, Dr Klotz. I highly recommend him if you need a gastroenterologist. He is also a really nice person!

Appallingly inconsiderate.
The most inconsiderate doctor I've ever met. Never follows up. Always hours late to his own office. Keeps you waiting for hours. And god forbid you need the results of a blood test before going in for a procedure. He will procrastinate sending results, and your procedure will be cancelled. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DOCTOR.

Worst Care Every Received. Would never hear back from him. Constantly absent from his office. Would not call me back with results of diagnostic testing, even after I called and his staff sent him numerous requests to do so. When asked if someone was covering for him while he was out of the office, his NP or PA refused to handle my case. I once received a call back from Klotz in a late evening on results of a scope, and I asked follow-up questions, based on what he just had said, but he responded that he didn't have my file in front of him, and he was completely ignorant to my case. His office is a nightmare to get through to. They refuse any flexibility in scheduling. It's almost like he is half retired and maybe feels like it's fine to make patients wait forever, while he is off enjoying his leisure time. Overall, so frustrated and disappointed by what terrible level of patient care is being offered at this office. I had to ask to leave the office to see a different provider.

Dr. Klotz told me more on my first visit about Chron's disease than all my Dr.'s put together. He is very kind and caring and also very down to earth. He is very much a people person. He made me understand my Chron's more and learn how to deal with it so it doesn't control me. I can't say enough what a good doctor he is.

I never met the doctor in the office and he had left before I woke up from anesthesia. I only spoke to him very briefly before the colonoscopy. Several days later I still did not have a follow up call and it took a couple more days before I was able to reach Dr. Klotz. It was very difficult to get any information about what was wrong or what I needed to do for treatment. He was much less than helpful. I was also never given a follow up appointment at the office. Don't they want patients?
