I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Pittsburgh Ketamine Clinic. My first trip to the clinic was accompanying my son for his infusions for chronic pain and depression. I was very anxious about his first treatment but was immediately put at ease by the kindness and sincere compassion of Dr. Macler, Jean, and Kerry. After witnessing the improvements my son was experiencing from the ketamine, I decided to start treatment for my own treatment-resistant depression. The weekend after my first set of infusions, I ran errands, deep-cleaned my apartment, gave my dog a bath, and signed up for a painting class! The brain fog is lifting and I am able to complete tasks and do my job with more confidence. Since starting treatments, I have been able to make it through some very trying times without falling apart. It is rare to find a medical practice where you are treated like a person and not just a patient. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Ketamine Clinic.

My experience with Dr. Macler may be the best I’ve ever had with any healthcare professional! He is incredibly kind and great to listen and respond promptly to any questions or concerns, and my first two treatments were an absolute breeze thanks to how comfortable his office is, not to mention his awesome staff. My fiance, who was very skeptical of this treatment, is completely supportive of it now that he has met Dr. Macler’s team at Pittsburgh Ketamine. It is so obvious that they are truly concerned about the well-being of their patients from the moment you contact them about treatment. I really can’t recommend them enough, and I am excited to continue my relationship with them for further treatments.

Dr. Macler and his staff are amazing. There is a wide range of price-points for this treatment, and Dr. Macler has done his best to provide this treatment as affordably as possible. He is passionate about helping people. This treatment changed my life and I can't thank Dr. Macler enough. I really appreciated that he was supportive of my feedback with regard to treatment decisions instead of insisting on one-size-fits-all protocol. In response to a previous reviewer, Dr. Macler is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has probably been practicing medicine longer than the poster's daughter (ICU nurse?) has been alive. I trust Dr. Macler's expertise implicitly and I don't trust the details described in that review; sedative is NOT typically combined with ketamine- the reviewer is mistaken. Side note, if the reviewer truly was not breathing properly, a sedative would have made that situation worse...

Had terrifying experience 6/2018. Dr didn't add sedative to large dose of ketamine, so I had full blown horrific drug trip. If my daughter w 7 yrs ICU experience hadn't been in room, I might have died. She noticed I was barely breathing, and elderly Dr Macler said to her "What should I do?" She took charge, thank God.He told me initially sedative is added to ketamine. He didn't add it to first treatment, or to lg dose of 3rd treatment even tho his nurse stopped him in the hall to tell him to.

They treat you like family. Him and his wife Jean and the nurse Karey. Best doctor I’ve ever met. They should write a book with his stories of healing.

I am currently visiting with Dr. Macler to undergo Ketamine Therapy treatment for my SEVERE treatment resistant OCD, Depression and Eating Disorder. After years of dealing with these disorders and seeing no improvements from more common treatments (antidepressants, therapy- CBT and exposure therapy) my mom and I discovered Dr. Macler and read about his work with Ketamine. I've had 3 procedures done so far with positive results, which will hopefully keep improving. Dr. Macler is such a kind man.
