Dr. Rascoff misdiagnosed my children with ADHD and "growing pains" when they actually had undiagnosed tick-borne illnesses (including Lyme arthritis). He recommended dangerous stimulants to be used as treatment for their bug bites, along with ibuprofen for pain. A specialist subsequently conducted testing that revealed the presence of undiagnosed Lyme and Bartonella infections. The specialist recommended treatment with antibiotics, antiparasitics, and herbal remedies that actually addressed my children's health complaints and helped reestablish their immune health. Dr. Rascoff's reaction to the incredible medical turn-around for my children was to suggest the doctor who listened to my children and addressed their physical complaints had brainwashed me and I should instead believe his original ADHD and growing pains diagnosis. I thought Dr. Rascoff had an ethical responsibility to help address my children's physical complaints, but he seemed more concerned with $$$ from big pharma.

I have consistently found Dr. Rascoff to be creepy and kind of weird during my son's visits. He also never seems to give any medical advice but spends a great deal of time quizzing my son on his math facts (which seems unnecessary and stressed my son who has trouble in math). He also spends a strange amount of time discussing who should or shouldn't be seeing my son naked. The whole thing made me very uncomfortable so we switched pediatricians.

Dr Rascoff is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He cares deeply about his patients & goes out of his way to ensure their well-being. We came to Dr Rascoff nine years ago after our oldest child was given an erroneous appendectomy and could no longer trust our pediatrician. He rebuilt our trust. When our child was hospitalized for an emergency surgery recently, Dr Rascoff was there to guide us with his medical expertise and his encouragement. One can't find a better doctor.
