Not up front
I might have gone on an office meltdown day. Past that I was signed up for cataract surgery at the McComb hospital and filled out their paperwork. Some days later I got a call that Dr. Sanders was cancelling all surgeries. Some time after that I understood the hospital didn't accept my insurance. Nobody told me that. I had to figure it it out on my own.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sanders since he started. I love him and his staff. They treat me like family. They are always professional and courteous. Hands down the best eye doctor around!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Dr Sanders and his staff! I had a problem and had called two other eye doctors office for help with no success. When I called his office the lady was very professional and willing to try and work me in even though he was obviously slammed with patients. I am so very thankful for Dr Sanders and his caring staff! I will be using him from now on.

called and made an appt. Took off from work with NO pay. Drove an HOUR one way just to GET there. Once I DID get there, I was told they would NOT see or treat me? You're not going to believe this: without a DRIVER'S license, they REFUSED to treat me. The FIRST line of the Hippocratic oath ALL doctors take says " FIRST, do no harm." If you REFUSE to provide NEEDED treatment, isn't a doctor DOING HARM? Drove an hour BACK to work. That's TWO HOURS of my life and income GONE.

Dr. Sanders was very patient and kind. The office staff was warm and welcoming. He explained things to me in a way that anyone could understand. Very genuine!

It was my first visit to this office. The doctor himself was great. But my experience with his support staff moved me to write this review. I've either called or been personally in the office at least 4 times since the first visit. Each time, the front desk rep - "Kaylon" demonstrated that she lacks enthusiasm to help. She desperately needs some customer service training. What a bad first impression for such a good doctor.
