Provider came to appointment with assumptions about my condition. She seemed to listen well, but seemed judgmental. I had to restate what I was telling her because I did not agree with her assessment. In addition, she used textbook medical terminology, which though I understood it, made me feel like she was relying on her schooling and putting a person into a “box” rather than listening to my individual situation. Didn’t feel any better after leaving the appointment; in fact, I felt worse because of how I was treated.
