She listens, she is extremely skilled, diligent and thoughtful. She goes way beyond what would be considered a regular checkup. I always leave so impressed with her knowledge and ability!

Absolutely Terrible
I’ve been a patient at this practice for over 10 years. Doctors and staff come and go constantly…a red flag. Dr. Hoch consistently has little concern for the patient and more concern for the interns who follow her around. She speaks more to them and less to the patient. At a recent physical, I was charged a separate office visit and resulting co-pay for checking my blood pressure. What a joke! A separate charge for actually doing their job. Also, Dr. Hoch spent under 3 minutes in the room!!! She decide to do the majority of my physical from another room via telephone because I had a runny nose. Another complete joke! And, a complete waste of time! Many shortcuts were taken and multiple common physical procedures skipped entirely. But, they double charged and got paid!!! Stay far away from this doctor and this practice unless you prefer sub par medical care and being overcharged for less!!! A walk-in clinic will give you better care!

Great PCP
Dr. Hoch cares about her patients and takes care to teach her students as well. She asks about my overall health (mental, emotional), not just physical health. She is professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

Cares more about money than patient’s health
I recently saw Dr. Hoch for my annual physical and was surprised that she never once asked me how I was doing mentally, even though it had been over 2 years since I’d seen here and we were in the middle of a pandemic. I had even called the office for an anti depressant a year before and she never referred to that at all. During the visit, she stated that she wanted to prescribe a new Rx to me. I asked a simple question about the purpose of the medication. Today I was shocked to find out that I have been charged a separate office visit co-pay because I asked that question so it was considered a discussion and therefore they could charge me for a completely separate office visit and a co-pay. The annual physical lasted no more than 7 minutes and yet a simple question warranted a separate office visit billing charge. Unbelievable.

Poor PCP. Dr. Hoch seems incapable of thinking about problems independently, she refers everything to specialists.
